| | APRIL 20264The world is literally on fire! The U.S. along with Israel launched strikes to neutralize Iran's nuclear program on February 28 this year. The strike also killed Iran's Supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. From the very moment the missiles hit, the world as we know it has transformed.Tension have only risen with the whole of the Gulf and neighbouring region being pulled into a war. Targets under strike have been critical oil, gas and energy structures in the Gulf region and beyond. As the world burns and the Strait of Hormuz has been blocked, global supply chains have been completely disrupted. From India's lifeline, LPG to fertilizers, crude oil to pharma, every critical sector has been disrupted resulting in shortages beginning to occur in various parts of India. LPG is particular has been in short supply affecting millions of Indian businesses and individuals alike. As negotiation talks hang by a thread, the country is preparing for a difficult period in the near future.Amidst the escalation going on between US/Israel and Iran, the PM addressed the Lok Sabha, in turn sending a much-required message to the Indian people.Emerging as a strong leader in this time of need, PM Modi highlighted the energy security measures implemented by his government in the last ten years and sent a message to the public to come together to face this impending challenge with grit and positivity.PM Modi also mentioned that significant volumes of crude oil, gas, fertilizers, and various vital goods reach India via the Strait of Hormuz passage. "Since the conflict started, navigating ships through the Strait of Hormuz has become quite difficult."PM Modi's timely address to the nation signals the signs of a good leader. In times of need, a leader must lead from the front and give out a message of strategic hope. As times become tough, the spotlight will be on business leaders who will helm India's resurgence in times of need.Let us remember that we are all in this together and with persistent we will find our way out of this conundrum.
