| | OCTOBER 20269The US Department of War and Lockheed Martin have announced a framework agreement for multiyear production and sustainment of the F-35 Light-ning II. Chairman, President and CEO Jim Taiclet said the greater certainty will allow upfront investment in capacity, efficiency and a more resil-ient supply chain. Contract details, pricing and timelines will be finalised through a formal award once multiyear authority and appropriations are approved in the coming months. The deal aims to save taxpayers billions through long-term pricing and volume discounts. More than 1,375 Force Motors Limited has teamed up with Rosmerta Auto Recycling Pvt. Ltd. to help customers scrap qual-ifying end-of-life vehicles at a Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility in Delhi-NCR, with similar tie-ups planned for other regions. The facility will handle paperwork, depollution, disman-tling, and sorting of recyclable materials, and customers will receive documents such as the Certificate of Deposit, which can waive the registration fee on a new vehicle. The initiative sup-ports Force Motors' MoU with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways under the Com-mercial Vehicle Replacement Scheme, and aligns with ex-tended producer responsibility norms, reinforcing the compa-ny's sustainability push beyond production.
