But the fact is, the statement still lies just on the surface; and the reality is that the world is still quite indifferent to the women taking the charge. From doubting their capability to innovate, manage, run the business to raising funds and turning it into unicorns, women's every action is looked upon with crude eyes. Despite so much of efforts, women constitute only 14 percent of the total entrepreneurship in India, states the Sixth Economic Census. The number indeed has increased, but it actually shows the gap that we need to fill in, the gap in terms of opportunities, trust, money, support and encouragement that women need to turn into the kingpins that will contribute towards economic growth. But there are some tales that are creating a plinth for other women to follow and these stories are truly encouraging. Especially in the field of FMCG where women entrepreneurs are turning their hobbies into passion and passion into business the successful ones! Their stories indeed need to be spoken and narrated repeatedly as they have the power to transmute anyone into success. Featuring some such stories is our current edition of CEO Insights Magazine's `Top 10 Women Leaders in FMCG 2020'. We interacted with a number of women entrepreneurs from the industry and were amused to find the kind of passion they have to turn the table in their favour and offer products/services that truly make their clients elated. Read to know more about their struggle, their journey and the unconditional support that they receive from their family & team that are making them the true `Winners'.Do let us know what you think!
