The company said replacing 10 percent of India's diesel trucking fleet with LNG vehicles could save USD 5-6 billion annually in foreign exchange by reducing fuel imports.GreenLine CEO Madhur Taneja stated that LNG trucks can lower fuel costs by up to 20 percent for long-haul opera-tors while significantly cutting emissions. The company cur-rently operates 1,000 LNG- and EV-powered trucks across key freight corridors and aims to accelerate adoption through stronger government policy sup-port, infrastructure expansion, and wider industry partnerships across India's logistics and trans-portation sectors. Varun Beverages Limited (VBL), PepsiCo's largest franchise bottler outside the US, has extended its exclu-sive bottling and trademark licensing agreement with Pep-siCo in India until April 2049, adding ten years to the existing partnership. The revised agree-ment also removes a clause re-stricting VBL to PepsiCo-related operations.In Q1 CY2026, the company reported an 18.1 percent rise in revenue to Rs 6,574.2 crore, while consolidated sales vol-ume grew 16.3 percent to 36.3 crore cases. Low- and no-sugar beverages contributed nearly 63 percent of total sales volume, reflecting changing consumer preferences. Chairman Ravi Jaipuria said strong demand, disciplined execution, distribu-tion expansion, and capacity additions continued driving growth across domestic and international markets. The fa-cilities are equipped with advanced testing, validation, and integration systems, and aim to strengthen indigenous production capabilities in the space sector.The Gujarat and Tamil Nadu Governments have identified land parcels for dedicated plug-and-play space manufacturing clus-ters, where these facilities will be developed. According to the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACe), the agency will play a key role in acquiring, setting up, and opera-tionalizing the technical infrastruc-ture. IN-SPACe will also manage the facilities for a specified period before transferring ownership to respective state governments, sup-porting long-term growth of India's private space industry.
