Referring to Mehul as the body of the organization and herself as the soul, Aditi Joshi talks to CEO Insights magazine about being the creative mind of her firm Tagz & Talezz.
What inspired you to establish Tagz & Talezz?
Share with us the inception story of the company. The story of Tagz & Talezz began in the year 2010 when we (My husband and I) experienced a shift in the industry people were moving from creative to design oriented work. Studios started labeling themselves as creative agencies, and businesses were keener on cost effective solutions (more of copy-paste designs) over thoughtful and strategic branding solutions. That's when we feel inspired to establish our brainchild Tagz & Talezz.
At, Tagz & Talezz our approach has been completely different. We believe, anyone can design but it's tough to sell. On contrary, concepts stand for themselves. They convey the brand message easily, and connecting with the end users, they are well appreciated. With our strategic and creative solutions, we
have helped many SME clients compete with big names in their industries both at national and international levels. With the philosophy of ‘not selling designs, but to work on concepts that connect’, we have succeeded in creating a niche for ourselves.
What were the major challenges that you encountered during your journey at Tagz & Talezz and how did you manage to overcome them? How has been industry experience helping you in shaping your leadership Journey?
Quality comes with a cost, and we offer quality solutions that help our clients connect with their end consumers. On contrary, the market is overwhelming with studios that offer copy paste jobs at a very low price. In such a scenario it becomes difficult to break through the taboo and to make the client understand, that such short term benefits may affect their brand identity in long run.
To lead a team, one needs to keep learning and evolving continuously. Luckily, I am one of those who have worked for clients from diversified sectors, explored new terrains, and honed my skills with continuous learning. It has thus enabled us to develop and work towards our organization's vision, to ensure the growth of every team member to inspire my creative team to upgrade, innovate, and think out-of-the-box.It has also empowered my team as a whole to match the evolving demands of our clients.
Addressing the target audience in the demanding market and how do you position yourself in the industry? How do you differentiate your offerings from the others in the market?
We are connected with several networking groups and we work on a referral based marketing ecosystem. Moreover, our focus has always been on having quality clients who value our work, over quantity. We aim to position ourselves as a creative agency that extends integrated branding and marketing solutions.
We, at Tagz & Talezz, have an eye for creativity and a heart for strategy. Our strength has always been to create conceptualized and strategized creativity. Hence, we have always been looked upon by our clients as a rare combination of 'Beauty and Brains thats budget friendly'.

Society today is witnessing the evolution of women entrepreneur
ship. What is your perspective towards it? Share your experience of being a women business person.
There are lots of opportunities for women today. But at the same time, it is very important for a woman to understand her strengths and potential to tap them and take strides ahead. Success, I would say, is a little more challenging for women, because she has to manage and juggle both the worlds and roles entrepreneur or a professional as well as look after the familial home.
Earlier it was believed, `behind every successful man there is a woman'. Well, today we can say, ‘Behind every successful woman there is a man, or I would rather put it as her family'. Nothing is impossible, but yes, it is difficult to emerge as a successful person without a strong support system, without having a belief in yourself and your visions. Thankfully, I have a very supportive and understanding husband, parents, father in law, and children who are always encouraging and pushing me ahead. Moreover, my husband and I share the same vision and goal for Tagz & Talezz. It's our brainchild. And we are all set to further take it to new heights of success.
How has been the company's growth so far and what is the future roadmap set ahead?
Since the inception, we have evolved and grown steadily as well as constantly at the rate of approx. 30% every passing year. With time and demand, we have added new service dimensions to our agency. We have created a unique identity and equity for ourselves ‘If once TnT, then forever Tn' be it for our team or our clients. Being optimistic about our future, we are planning to further add new wings inhouse like app development, corporate and ad film production, and more.
