Through TPC GLOBAL, Ajay aspires to train the next generation of industry leaders and capable professionals who can leave their mark in the industry and become catalysts of positive change for those around them.

In an exclusive interview with CEO INSIGHTS, Ajay talks more about his journey as a leader and the operations of TPC GLOBAL.

Could you give a brief account of your professional background and experiences?
Ever since my engineering days, I was intrigued by management and training and that is one of the reasons why I pursued MBA from IIM Kashipur, International MBA from United Business Institutes (Brussels, Belgium) and PG Diploma in training and development from The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD). This passion for training is also why I did consultancy jobs in training for various organizations. During the 2000s,I realized that engineering graduates were facing serious challenges in getting placed and
achieve success in the market. To tackle this challenge, I thought of starting something innovative and different which led to the establishment of TPC GLOBAL. At the same time, I was still working as a consultant which helped me to better understand the market scenario and come up with more effective solutions.

Give a brief account about your flagship offerings and what are the value additions that customers can expect from your offerings?
Our flagship offering is Employability Skills Training where we focus on fostering skills essential to become more employable. We train engineering & other graduates to improve their acumen on logics, aptitude, attitude, present ability, and desired technology to name a few. Through this, we focus on guiding the learners in the right direction and help them realize their true potential. By giving ample importance to develop both soft and hard skills, we are able to ensure their holistic development and make them more employable. Besides this, we also offer Life Skills Training where we prepare the learners to face the challenges they come across in the highly competitive corporate realm and train them on the required skills each individual should have to thrive in the industry; Technology Programs in which we expose the learners and train them on modern technologies including Java frameworks and web services, Jave SE and Java EE, Server and cloud computing, Machine Learning with Python, and Web application and web services. In every program we offer, we focus on catering to the requirements of each learner and help them improve and grow. This in turn will aid them in their journey to become successful in their career.

Tell us about your leadership approach.
As a leader, I am passionate about constantly learning and improving myself. I work on aligning my team
towards realizing a shared vision and help them understand what is expected of them, and assisting them if a need arises. As a leader, I am also a firm believer of the idea that if your team makes a mistake, it is the leaders’ mistake and if we have an achievement, it belongs to my team. I also don’t confine myself to the conventional image of a boss and hierarchical structures. In our company, we have transparent communication channels and the opinions of each employee is valued. I also try to bring in a positive mindset which is very important if you want to achieve sustained growth in the industry. Besides, I focus on building meaningful relationships with not just my associates but also with other stakeholders. This helps us to grow stronger together.

What is the future destination you are headed towards?
We have an established presence in the North, especially in Delhi NCR, Uttarakhand, Jaipur, and Chandigarh. Over the years, we have been able to grow as one of the leading names in the region and become a trusted partner for various organizations. Going forward, we see immense opportunities to excel in other regions of the country including the South and the West. We currently have our offices in Delhi and Uttarakhand and we are aiming to expand into Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, and Hyderabad in the near future. This will be our second growth phase and in the third one, we have plans to expand to the Asian countries and become international in the near future. From a personal standpoint, my primary objective is to learn consistently and continue to help people.
