Could you give a brief account of your professional background and experiences? What is the motivation that fuels your daily routines?
With a post graduate degree from the esteemed Dewan Chand Imaging Centre and over 25years of experience as a radiologist, I have had the opportunity to hold leadership positions in several of South Delhi's premier hospitals. Currently, I run my own well-regarded diagnostic centre in the heart of South Delhi, serving a broad range of clients.
I have been honoured for my contributions to the field with several awards, including one from the NRI Society of India, presented at the House of Commons in London. I am also dedicated to advocating for the rights of the girl child and was recognized for this with an award from the Delhi Medical Council. Additionally, my diagnostic abilities have earned me several accolades from the Indian Medical Council.
The aim is to use my expertise to provide efficient and accurate diagnoses to those in need while offering compassionate support during their challenging time. Our ‘Ikigai’ is to provide quick and accurate diagnosis to alleviate suffering and also provide compassionate support during this difficult point in a fellow human being’s life.
How has been your path to success and what is your success mantra?
As a second-generation radiologist, I have always been driven by a deep commitment to providing personalized diagnostic services of the highest quality. This guiding principle has been the foundation of my journey towards slow and steady success, which I treasure deeply. Throughout my career, I have been steadfast in my pursuit of excellence, always striving to deliver the best possible care to each of my patients. My unwavering dedication to this ideal has allowed me to build a reputation for providing reliable and trustworthy diagnostic services, which I am proud to offer with integrity.

I am a strong advocate for incorporating the latest medical technology and knowledge into my practice. This commitment to staying at the forefront of the field drives me to continuously upgrade my diagnostic centre with state-of-the-art medical equipment and to actively seek out the latest developments in my field. As a result, I am happy to be highly sought after as a consultant for interventional procedures in the area of IVF (in vitro fertilization).
My dedication to staying current with the latest in healthcare technology is reflected in my family as well. My twin daughters are currently pursuing Master's degrees in biomedical fields from the highly regarded Johns Hopkins University in the United States. Additionally, my wife is a renowned liver transplant anesthesiologist and has recently published a book on the subject through Springer, Singapore.

To help promote this principle, I have developed the "Jolly Care" program, which offers comprehensive health check-ups tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual based on their age and gender.
I am a strong proponent of the importance of regular check-ups, combined with the adoption of a healthy lifestyle, as a way to proactively address health concerns. I firmly believe that a doctor led program such as 'Jolly Care' is more likely to engender trust and encourage participation among patients. By working to promote preventive healthcare and empowering individuals to take control of their health, I am helping to build a stronger and more resilient community.

One of the biggest challenges I have faced as a radiologist is acquiring the latest medical technologies and retaining the talent pool in the face of growing competition from large corporate healthcare providers. However, despite these obstacles, I am proud to say that my greatest accomplishment is the trust and loyalty of my patient base, which continues to expand as a result of word-of-mouth recommendations.
I firmly believe that by maintaining a strong commitment to integrity, and compassion, and providing the highest quality care, I can overcome any obstacle and continue to provide the best possible service to my patients.
