In an exclusive interview with CEO Insights, Mukesh talks more about his professional journey and the growth of RAPOO India.
Journey us through your professional background and experiences and what prompted you to begin a career at RAPOO India? What keeps you going today?
I began my career in the sales
department and that is where I honed my understanding of people and the best way to persuade them to a mutually beneficial decision. After hand ling the sales of prestigious peripheral brands like AOC and working with reputed distribution organi zations like Neoteric, I was ready to take the next step in my corporate journey. Through out my career I have been fortunate to sought out the challenges which in fact kept my moti vation and confidence high. Hence, I opted RAPOO as another right challenge to accept. What keeps me going is the goal of moving the brand from challenger brand to the most aspirational wireless peripheral brand in the Indian and South East Asian Market.
What has been your business mantra that drove you to the level you have achieved now?
We at RAPOO, one of our focuses is to build relationships that last a lifetime, which is based on trust & mutual respect. At the core of every business deal is transparency and professionalism, where people feel more inclined to deal with you/us.
The bootstrapped entrepreneurial approach of our growth has resulted in our favor as our dependencies on the headquarters were less compared to other countries making us a much more self sufficient unit focused strong growth over the coming years.
How do you keep up with the dynamic trends in the IT & Digital lifestyle market?
We constantly keep a track of what is new to the market and RAPOO as a brand is built on innovation and research. Be it in the gaming category our products tend to bring

We consider ourselves to be an established brand within the Indian market when it comes to the consumer peripheral category who are making massive inroads in the gaming peripheral space. Our gaming subrand V-Series will be a known name in the gaming sector in the coming years.
We are a preferred brand name in the Key board, Mouse, Keyboard Combo, Headphones and Gaming Peripherals sectors. During the lock down, our Web Camera Product Range and Multi function Adapter have seen an increased surge in demand. Also by this year end we will coming up with wide range of Video Conferen cing Devices.
With respect to the market's future, what are your goals and how to plan to take them forward? Also, what would be your advice to budding entrepreneurs in the computer hard ware industry?
Our segment is an ever evolving arena and we are confident in our current product port folio and the future products that are in the pipeline will meet and exceed the market's expectations.
As far as my advice goes, I would say, keep an eye on what is trending and understand the market pulse. Listen to your customer and be swift with redressing their issues. Take care of your distri bution and they will take care of your Brand.
