Tell us about the difficulties you have faced and how you have found them to be useful so far on your journey. What is the Mantra for your success?
Throughout my 25-year career journey, I have come to realize that gracefully accepting challenges and approaching them with a positive mindset is the most important lesson I have learned. By doing so, I have been able to find solutions to problems within the challenges themselves. Having a positive outlook is the key to success.

Define Phil Group's role in the Coal Washing, Coal Trading, and Coal Transportation domain.
We are a company that specializes in Coal Washing, Coal Trading and Coal Transportation via both road and rail in the states of Chhattisgarh

and Madhya Pradesh. Our operations include a Coal Washery with a capacity of 5.0 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) in Ghutku village, Bilaspur district (C.G.), a 2.5 Mtpa Coal Washery in Raigarh district, Chhattisgarh, and a 2.4 Mtpa Coal Crushing and Screening facility in Lokhandi Village, Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh.

Our services involve transporting raw coal from mines to end users, or transporting washed coal from mines to our Coal Washery, processing it, and then transporting the washed coal to end users as per the agreed-upon terms and conditions. We dispatch our products via road from our Ghutku Washery and rail from our Railway siding (PMBG) of The SECR Bilaspur Division. We also offer liaison services with SECL and/or other relevant departments as required by our clients.

What changes have you made in your position, and how do you ensure that the offerings have a noticeable influence on the market to draw customers?
The concept of a plan involves outlining the objectives a company wants to achieve, while the strategy is how these goals are realized. A plan typically includes specific strategies for achieving the desired outcomes, with defined timelines for implementing them. Logistics strategies play a crucial role in shaping the plan, and they tend to have a longer lifespan as they contain fundamental value propositions and dynamics that remain relatively stable over time.

How can you maximize the potential skills of your team?
Our company has dedicated staff

stationed at crucial locations to oversee the loading of coal and ensure its quality. Pay loaders are positioned at the collieries to ensure the prompt lifting of coal from stockyards and to guarantee the loading of high-quality coal. We follow a strict policy to avoid any lapses in delivery orders, which can result in penalties for the end-user companies due to an inadequate quantity of coal. Our operations are supported by a fleet of 400 trucks, along with 100 high-capacity trailers, which enable us to handle transportation from any location and meet your clean coal requirements effectively. We have established strong relationships with SECL officials at both the head office and area levels, which helps us to deliver coal to you on time. Our dedicated team ensures that our operations run smoothly at all times.

How do you stay informed of market trends, industry practices, and changes in market behavior?
I make it a habit to stay abreast of developments in the industry by reading trade publications and websites, as well as following news in national, regional, and local newspapers. I also keep up with the insights shared by influential bloggers and business thought leaders. To further deepen my involvement in the industry, I join industry associations and attend their events. I also participate in online communities to engage with peers and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments.

What is the future destination you are heading towards?
We are eagerly anticipating our journey toward the future, which involves producing steel and power, critical requirements for our nation. We will accomplish this goal while adhering to our government's environmental policy by utilizing renewable energy sources.
