You possess two decades of experience. How has been your path to success and what is your success mantra
I have over 27 years of experience and counting. Prior to founding this
company, I have enjoyed successful career in renowned labs at significant positions for over two decades. CRL Diagnostics has performed relentlessly in the pandemic times and even excelled. Since inception, we have successfully served millions of the customers.
Any road which leads to success demands your compassion, commitment, dedication and discipline. And, 'focus' I believe plays a significant role in your path to success. My success mantra over the years has remained same- dealing with one thing at a time with all your focus, along with serenity and a calm mind. Where the stability ingrained in my thoughts has always helped me in dealing with the situations.
How would you define CRL Diagnostics as an organization and its current position in the market?
We are one of the largest privately held diagnostic testing and services firm in India, with dedicated Government of India (ICMR) and NABL approved labs, committed to providing world class diagnostic services, maintaining the highest ethical standards and quality. Starting with merely 25 members, we are 700+ members strong firm today, comprising of highly skilled industry experts who strive to serve the patients well. It is through their relentless efforts and commitment, CRL Diagnostics has come a long way serving millions of satisfied customers. Adapting and evolving with ever-growing industry standards, CRL Diagnosticsis a name that people trust and look upto for getting the accurate and reliable diagnosis.
Tell us about your leadership approach, and the guidelines or methodologies you follow to lead your team
A good leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. My approach has always been to listen to my team thoroughly, resolve for them whatever obstacle they are facing and come with different unique ways to encourage them, as they are who are the reason to our leadership.
How are you leveraging health information technologies in healthcare decision making and investigations? What are the latest tools the organization has deployed in its services?

Although human intervention and AI goes hand-in hand to achieve the desirable results, AI as a progressive technology has definitely made the system efficient & smooth to work in. As an organization and understanding the demand of the market, we have incorporated AI in many of our processes.
Could you reflect on some of the toughest challenges you have encountered in your journey so far? How did you overcome them and what did you learn from them?
The toughest challenge I have faced so far is to survive the market without compromising on the quality. The industry now-a-days is facing some tough challenges and the drop in the quality. My priority over the years has remained same i.e, working for the betterment of the patients and providing them with the affordable healthcare system.When your goals and priorities are clear it becomes easy to overcome anything. I have learned to never give up and always work hard towards my goal which is to help in providing the accurate and reliable diagnosis within defined time frame.
In the light of your strong experience within the industry, what advice would you give to the budding industry leaders?
My advise to the upcoming leaders will be to always make the patient betterment their priority and come together to form a better community. COVID-19 has given us a tough lesson, the countries with better health ecosystem could survive the pandemic and could save their people, so we should always strive to be detailed & future ready.

Holding a MBA degree in Business Administration, he is the internal auditor for NABL, and has also been a business leader amidst SAARC countries. Under his aegis, steadily growing from its origins as a Pathology Laboratory to standing tall as a recognized innovator in areas, CRL has been relishing year-over-year revenue growth and expansion since inception.
