Globallogic Acquires Assign Group

October 25, 2019 : GlobalLogic Inc., a leader in digital product engineering, announces the acquisition of Assign Group – a software design and engineering firm headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. The company is reputed to provide digitally-driven user experiences for industries including the Automotive, Aerospace, Defense and IT sectors. With this tie, GlobalLogic’s software engineering and design capabilities are strengthened.

This targeted acquisition is a move towards the strategic expansion of the company. It will help GlobalLogic to cater to the Nordic clients with more efficiency. Both the companies have similar mission and vision. Also, the domains that they serve are also similar.

The Assign Group came into existence in the year 2005 and had an initial focus on Automotive Sector. In a short span of time, the company has expanded the market coverage by stepping into IT and aerospace domains. Assign has successfully designed and built innovative in-vehicle electronics, human machine interfaces, infotainment systems, active safety systems, and much more for customers operating around the world.

The terms and conditions of the agreement remain undisclosed. No changes in the leadership of Assign or its’ staffs has been made. It will continue to function as a fully owned subsidiary of GlobalLogic.
