Could you give a brief account of your professional background and experiences? What is the motivation that fuels your daily routines?.

I began my career in Saudi Arabia in 1992 with AMECO, managing ARAMCO Contracts for General Motors vehicles. Moving to Dubai in 1994, I joined Hertz Rent A Car, a franchise of the Al Futtaim Group and helped expand its fleet from 150 to over 5,500 vehicles in six years. My passion for technology led me to CARPRO Systems, where I played a pivotal role in software implementation across Europe, Middle East and established a centralized office in Pune.

In 2009, I transitioned to Shift Car Rental & Leasing, growing the fleet from 400 to 8,000 cars and earning several presitigious awards. Later, I joined Budget Rent-A-Car, where we won World Travel Awards for three consecutive years while turned company into highly profitable. My journey then took me to Easy Lease
Motorcycle Rental PJSC, but I found my niche at Legend Holding Group in 2022. Here, I've expanded into luxury vehicles, Limousine, green energy solutions, and Motorcycle dealerships with assembly plant in UAE.

My daily motivation stems from the belief in servant leadership, empowering others to excel by providing the resources and support they need. This philosophy drives my commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

My success mantra is straightforward – 'prior- itize your people & ensure your processes are system-driven, leading to enhanced process efficiencies, culminating towards elevated CSI, customer loyalty & retention, & healthy financials

How has been your path to success and what is your success mantra?

With over thirty-two years of experience, my path to success has been driven by a commitment to responsibility over authority. I believe leadership is about taking responsibility and ensuring your team is aligned and focused. Consistency is key in operations; maintaining steady, reliable practices prevents losing track.

My success mantra is straight forward – 'prioritize your people & ensure your processes are system-driven, leading to enhanced process efficiencies, culminating towards elevated CSI, customer loyalty & retention, and healthy financials'. By fostering clarity and purpose, every team member understands why they do their work and what’s expected. This approach, coupled with a passion for digitalization and technology, has been integral in streamlining operations and driving continuous improvement. Digitalization with customer centric approach is one of the main goals of Legend Group.

Tell us about your leadership approach. What are the guidelines or methodologies you follow as a leader?

My leadership approach centers on under standing and aligning individual strengths with organizational needs. The key question I always ask is, why should someone work with us? Every employee has expectations and commitments, both professional and personal. While it's impossible to fulfill all, understanding their professional profiles and placing the right people in the right roles is crucial. I believe in identifying strengths and utilizing them effectively.
What is the future destination you are heading towards?

Legend group’s vision is clear, we aim to expand our company beyond the UAE, into GCC, North Africa, Asian, and European markets. As a diversified, one-stop automotive solution, we offer everything from trading and dealer ships to service centers, rental cars, green energy solutions, and motorbikes. Our goal is to grow this comprehensive model into a franchise concept, akin to major brands.

We are an ISO 9001:2015 certified company and recently, we were honored by the government with the Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport (DAST). Our future is not just about growth but leading with innovation and sustainability, ensuring our success and the success of our customers.

In light of your strong experience within the industry, what advice would you give to budding industry leaders?

My advice to budding industry leaders is simple, enjoy what you do and view your team as assets, not liabilities. Support and motivate your people, helping them find their passion. As a leader, your role is to place the right person in the right position.

Focus on your present tasks and enjoy the process, letting results follow naturally. While planning and setting targets are crucial for direction, be flexible in your approach. Challenges will arise, but adaptability ensures you reach your destination, and remember, the journey is as important as the goal. Enjoy it, and success will follow.
