Standing tall amidst this crowd of colleges is ACE Engineering College, an epicenter of excellence in education, research and services across diverse engineering domains. Incorporated in 2007, ACE is currently presenting six B.Tech (UG) programmes in branches CSE, ECE, EEE, MECH, CIVIL & IT, each with a dedicated Research & Innovation wing. Being affiliated to JNTUH and autonomous (from 2020-21 to 2029-30 by UGC), this college has all its programs accredited by NBA and NAAC with A Grade (CGPA-3.20). Altogether, its primordial goal is to nurture and develop students with engineering professional attitude, strong technical foundation, analytical & technical skills and entrepreneurship skills, coupled with social motives.

Brief us on ACE's excellence in research & innovation.
What stays common among all branches of engineering is that we conduct a spectrum of research projects, technical seminars, workshops, Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and Hackathons. In the last two years, around 18 research projects, 38 technical workshops, 43 technical seminars, 26 FDPs and six Hackathons were
organized at ACE. Especially under JNTUH J-HUB, we have been conducting Hackathon programmes and presenting innovative ideas across the Smart India Hackathon.
We also own dedicated research labs or Centres of Excellence for each branch of engineering. This roster entails CAD & GIS for Civil, Microsoft Innovation Center, AI/ML & Blockchain for Computer Sciences, IoT & High Frequency Communication for ECE, Control & Power Electronics for EEE, and Automobile Engineering for Mech.
What is your college’s take on adapting the latest technologies?
We foresee a swarm of opportunities across cutting-edge technologies like AI/ML, IoT, Blockchain and Smart Technologies in the present as well as future. Hence, we have established multiple state-of-the-art laboratories for these technologies. Speaking of the infrastructure across these labs, we have sophisticated Total Station for Civil, AI/ML GPU Server & MATLAB(campus wide) for CSE, MATLAB, HFSS Software & Mentor Graphic Software for ECE, and LABVIEW Software for EEE. Moreover, ACE is equipped with 1300 P5 computers to ensure better careers for all our students.
How are you creating industry-ready students at ACE?
We have a dedicated programme called Butterfly Programme for this aspect. It is a Comprehensive Skill Development Programme which is focused on enhancing the employ ability skills of students. The program bestows them with Aptitude, Reasoning, Group Discussion, Programming, Technical & Soft skills through a spectrum of online practice sessions, mock tests & interviews and specific interview sessions by external industry & academic experts. We also arrange Enhanced Skill Development Programs to improve their professional etiquettes and skills in tune with industry requirements. Besides, we meticulously identify the domain of interest for each student, and deliver them appropriate training so that they can effectively build their career in that particular domain.
Also how are you encouraging

We are recognized as a Host Institute for Incubation Center by MSME, a branch of Government of India, and also sanctioned a whopping Rs.2.5 crore for establishing incubation centers on AI/ML, IoT and Blockchain technologies. Through these incubators, we are vividly supporting entrepreneurial and managerial development of MSMEs.
Tell us about the admission process that you follow.
Sure! In the first year of engineering, 70 percent of the seats are filled by TSCHE, Hyderabad through EAMCET for A Category Seats, and 30 percent of seats are filled by the Management as per TSCHE Rules & Regulations for B Category Seats. In the second year, we ensure that around 10 percent of the seats are filled through Lateral Entry Admissions.
Could you cast some light on the faculty at ACE?
We have 180 highly qualified and dedicated faculty including 35 Professors, 60 Associate Professors and 85 Assistant Professors. Among them, 42 members have been pursuing their research works across diversified specializations, while our professors are guiding around 64 research scholars during their Ph.D. We take utmost pride in our faculty for having published over 403 research publications in reputed international journals, Scopus indexed journals and Springer journals, and also for executing consultancy projects worth Rs.53 lakh during past three years. Further, we encourage our faculty members as well as students to acquire Online NPTEL – MOOCS certifications. In fact, 155 members in our faculty have already bagged them, while 60 percent of students from all branches are pursuing them.
What are your future plans?
We aspire to start new Post -graduation & Ph.D programmes in technologies such as IoT, AI/ML, Blockchain, RPA and Quantum Computing, besides upgrading our college as a Private State University very soon.
