Could you share details about your professional background and experiences? Additionally, what motivates you to make fear a part of your daily routine?

My career has taken me through various companies in India and North America. In the early stages, I worked on a contractual basis with a Defense Organization, gaining hands-on experience with software development and writing algorithms for missile simulation. Later, I worked at Data Patterns in Chennai and then spent about a year and a half at Wipro. During this time, I realized my inclination towards transitioning from a service organization to a product organization, driven by the desire for innovation. This led me to join AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) around 19 years ago.

Currently, I focus on programming, test automation, and implementing Agile and Scrum methodologies. I lead diverse teams spread across North America, Asia, and Europe. My
motivation lies in my passion for innovation, excellence in software development, and a strong commitment to making positive contributions to society, the community, and the industry as a whole.

The university's cultural impact extends beyond academics, as evidenced by the ongoing support I provide to the community in my current professional role.

Could you share the significant mile stones in your career journey thus far?

Currently, I am employed at AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) a global semiconductor company. AMD is renowned for its high-performance computing (HPC) capabilities and is a leading provider in graphics services, cloud graphics solutions and visualization technologies, including virtual reality support.

Innovation is deeply ingrained in AMD's DNA, reflected in the continuous filing of numerous patents each year. The company's current market position is robust, owing to its commitment to
innovation, customer-centric approach, and strategic partnerships with various organizations and customers. Since joining AMD in 2005, starting as a senior engineer, I have witnessed and contributed to the company's organic growth. Presently, I hold the position of Director for Software, overseeing all software activities in Hyderabad. This growth has been gradual and rooted in a commitment to organic development rather than sudden spikes.

How do you stay updated on ongoing industry trends, especially given your role in a product company where staying ahead in technology is crucial?

Remaining current with tec-hnological advancements and industry trends is a continuous learning process for me. Actively participating in industry con-ferences, engaging with professional networks, and being part of groups such as the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Pearl City group are integral to my approach. Achieving certification in ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) from PMI demonstrates my commitment to professional development.

Embracing a culture of innovation within my organization involves encouraging experimentation and knowledge sharing. This ensures that the team remains at the forefront of industry developments, particularly in light of major inflection points like the current influence of Artificial Intelligence. Currently, I am an aspirant for a Doctorate of Business Administration from Golden Gate University, demonstrating my proactive approach to learning new technologies and maintaining a cutting-edge professional profile.
