What has been the idea behind establishing Squarea Consulting?
I have been in the real estate industry for more than a decade before I co-founded Squarea Consulting. And during that time, I realized, the real estate industry, in
spite of being the second largest employer in the country, still has major gaps in terms of the policies, processes, transparency, and professionalism which is required in this field. So, the idea was to establish a real-estate consulting firm focusing on adding value to the lives of the clients.

Could you tell us about the unique experiences Symbiosis International University offers and
what did you learn from the campus beyond academics?

This multicultural environment established within the campus gave me an opportunity to not only associate with different students and their cultures but also made me feel at home. Its multicultural education system has acted as a window of opportunities for me shaping my mind and perspective and preparing me for greater challenges in my career.

Tell us about your leadership approach.
In HNI advisory, talent is at the heart of our growth. I therefore believe in creating strong teams with trust and empowerment. By empowering them and counting on their sense of responsibility and ‘intrapreneurial’ style of working, I focus on fostering an environment where individuals feel valued and capable of making important decisions. My business leadership style gives associates the freedom to take ownership of their work and outcomes and allows them to utilize their skills and expertise better. In my opinion, trusting the team's abilities and providing them with the necessary training and resources enables them to excel and deliver exceptional results.

How do you keep yourself up-to-date with ongoing industry trends to steer your organization towards the future?
As an organization, we are happy with the pace with which we have grown in the last 10 months. We have already successfully established our offices in Pune (India) and Dubai and are now looking forward to expand our operations in Mumbai, Bhubaneshwar (East India) and Doha. So, the idea is to have a multicity presence with the ultimate goal of exceeding our clients’ expectations by leveraging our expertise, global network, and innovative solutions.
