Dr. Renjith Raj is the founder of Paddle Business Consultants and a management consultant with over 16 years of proven track record working as a management coach for entrepreneurs. He has offered his expertise to small and medium enterprises in varied industries and has also been providing consulting in organizations based in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait. Dr. Renjith has played a key role in guiding organizations through crisis situations and has created imprints in the minds of people by organizing several training sessions in India as well as abroad.

How would you define Paddle Business consultants as an organization? What is its current position in the market and the services offered?
Paddle Business Consultants is one of the top Management Consulting firms in India, based out of Cochin. We work with entrepreneurs to enable them to overcome roadblocks by diagnosing the right causes for problems and providing customized solutions along with implementation support. We have clients in all 14 districts of Kerala and work with some of the elite firms here. We are also connected to most entrepreneurs through robust networking.
We offer management consulting to
organizations and also provide training to entrepreneurial firms in Kerala. We are the only MOU private partner with Cochin University in the management department. Paddle Business Consultants is the knowledge partner for management graduates through a program known as Master of Vocational in Management Consulting (MVOC). Customer Centric Approach is another aspect of Paddle Business Consultant.
Tell us about your leadership approach. What are the guidelines you follow to lead your team at Paddle Business Consultants?
I am an unconventional leader since I believe in a participatory form of leadership.We gave seasoned professionals, with more than a decade of experience who form the principal consultants in our organization. Through a systematic, and goal oriented approach, the team achieves the desired results efficiently and effectively. I focus mostly on the strategic aspect and inspire my team to provide creative and innovative ideas through discussion and collaboration.
Could you reflect on some of the toughest challenges you have encountered in your journey so far? How did you overcome them and what did you learn from them?
Our core focus lies on developing professional organizations in Kerala wherein we focus on finance management consulting and process management consulting. The organizations need a feasibility study, market research, consumer analytics, investors, financial projections, and more and we help them by associating with firms and channel partners in Kerala. We provide organizations with support and guidance with our knowledge, resources, experience, expertise, research, and learning capabilities to make informed decisions. Paddle Business Consultancy also associates with consultants from different domains such as IT, HR, Digital Marketing, Market Research and CA which enables us to provide solutions to our clients.

We have a separate division called Paddle Business Guru which is a training company focused on SMEs and MSMEs. Developing the leaders of a particular organization is our main focus for smooth delegation. We have trained more than ten thousand entrepreneurs and 35 thousand employees for various organizations. Paddle Business Consultants has developed training modules and specific customized training programs in management consulting which can easily impart the importance of processes or systems in an organization to employees and management. In the future, we are planning to develop more training programs under Paddle Business Guru, and in management consulting, we aim to add more talents to the organization to develop the team and expand geographically.
In light of your strong experience within the industry, what advice would you give to budding industry leaders?
Management Consulting is a huge industry that is growing rapidly in India. So continuous learning is an important part of being and succeeding in this industry. He also has a doctorate in Business Management, EEP in Management Consulting from IIM Bangalore, M Phil in Business Management, MBA from Calicut University, and MA in Psychology from Bharathiyar. Dr. Renjith also serves as an associate professor at CUSAT and holds the role of the expert panel member and consultant at various management institutes as well.
