Tell us about your professional background and experiences. What drew you to start your professional journey in the oil and gas industry?
I graduated from Sinhgad College of Engineering with a degree in chemical engineering. I've been in the industry for the past 20 years and have worked for numerous organizations of repute. Working for both a modest federation and a large Organization has broadened my experience in every way. The oil and gas industry presents both challenges and opportunities for growth, which keeps me involved and pushes me to continue serving the market.
Define FIL SEP Equipments as a company? What are the company's main assets and distinctive value propositions for its customers?
Fil Sep Equipments is a leading company that specializes in filtration and separation systems, Lube Oil Skids, Process Skids & Pressure Vessels with state-of-the-art design, engineering, manufacturing facilities. We are experts in high performance filtering and separation solutions for challenging situations that improve fluid quality while lowering operational expenses. We are
globally recognized for our quality & performance of Lube Oil Skids & Process Skids Following worldwide standards, we are ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001 certified. Our ability to manufacture systems and components that achieve great operational and market performance has won us a solid reputation.
Our greatest strength is our ability to consistently meet the requirements of our clientele. This, I believe, is one of our greatest assets, and it stems from the individuals we have, who are proficient professionals with the complete know how of the current market. Owing to this strength, we have grown 5x in the last five years.
Reflect on some of the major challenges you have experienced in your journey so far? How did you overcome them and what did you learn from them?
Prior to joining FIL SEP Equipments, I have a demonstrated history of working in multinational companies, competing against established global players. Shifting from an MNC to a domestic organization was one of the biggest challenges in itself. But, I can proudly claim today that we are the market leader with a substantial market share, which we achieved by leveraging the team and providing them with the necessary dimensions to match the firm's goal and vision. We invested in the correct talent pool, inspired them to go farther, and provided them with the training they needed to grow and develop their own strengths. This has enabled our organization to develop and progress to where it is today.
We have grown in leaps and bounds in the previous five years, competing with the global behemoth and carving out our own niche in the market. Further, we are on the verge of setting up an industry-leading manufacturing facility, which will most likely be one of India's largest in our market segment, allowing us to better serve our consumers.

Focus, hard work, and integrity are non-negotiable to arrive at positive outcomes and optimum utilization of the available resources is the key to success. “Mushkil Hai Toh Majja Aiyega," is my personal success mantra, challenges are an integral element of success addressing them and navigating my way through them has strengthened my resilience. Knowing how to overcome hurdles and learn from them provides a strong basis for success.
Based on your strong professional experience, what advice would you give to the upcoming leaders in the same industry?
My piece of advice to all the budding leaders in the industry is to put your ideas into action by properly implementing them in your organization in order to gain a competitive edge. And in order to implement an idea in the workplace, a strategic plan must be in place to ensure a smooth transition. Further, there is no alternative to hard work; nothing worth while comes to one except via hard work. Everything is tough before it becomes simple. The very effort and hard work that we try so hard to avoid is the major building block in the person we are today.
