How has your professional journey been so far? What is the motivation that fuels your daily routines?
Throughout my extensive 16-year career in the tech industry, I have cultivated a diverse skill set spanning mobile app development, Java programming, product management, and business acumen. With a noteworthy tenure as a Director of Engineering at CARDEKHO, I have since embarked on an entrepreneurial journey as the CTO of my startup. Reflecting upon my professional odyssey, I can confidently assert that my unquenchable thirst for technological knowledge has
yielded fruitful rewards.
Furthermore, what truly propels me forward each day is the exhilarating ability to manifest intangible ideas into reality through the art of technology. By translating thoughts into tangible applications solely through programming and coding, I derive immeasurable satisfaction from witnessing my visions spring to life. This perpetual cycle of creation has become my paramount motivation, compelling me to persist tirelessly in my work.
Could you please elaborate on your roles and responsibilities at both of the startups you lead? Also, how would you describe each startup as an organization?
Currently, I find myself immersed in the exciting realm of leading two distinct startups. The first, known as Logvoy, boasts a revolutionary tech shipping platform that seamlessly transports shipments across vast oceans and lands. With a particular focus on African countries, our app has garnered significant traction, leading to prosperous business operations. Logvoy is a joint venture, with co-founders hailing from Africa, London and Australia, uniting our diverse expertise. The venture has already achieved profitability, signalling our collective success.
Meanwhile, my attention is also dedicated to the imminent launch of my second project - PEEPAPP. This venture aims to disrupt the norms of human interaction through a geolocation-based social networking platform. By incorporating geo-based dynamics, we envision a transformation in the way individuals connect and communicate worldwide. This ambitious endeavor holds the potential to reshape the global landscape of interpersonal relationships. With a clear vision and unwavering determination, we are poised to leave an indelible mark on the future of human interactions.

To be an effective leader, it is crucial to grasp human dynamics, a rare trait in the tech realm where introversion prevails. None the less, as a leader, I invest time in comprehending and empathizing with my team's individual experiences. Mutual respect is a cornerstone of our team, irrespective of hierarchy, fostering a growth-oriented environment. I prioritize providing opportunities for every team member, including freshers, to contribute meaningfully, fostering confidence and eliminating fear. Open access to information is another key principle I advocate, ensuring transparency and facilitating collaboration. These principles guide my leadership approach.
Can you share the significant mile stones you've achieved on your journey thus far, along with the guiding principles that have consistently led to your success and positive outcomes?
One of the significant milestones in my professional journey was when I took the bold decision and quit my job as a manual tester. Despite initial fears, I desired to delve into hands-on coding and create something meaningful. With limited programming knowledge and only a couple of years of experience, I dedicated myself to building a comprehensive system from scratch. This involved front-end and back-end development, implementing security measures, and deploying on AWS. Launching my application on the Play Store became a turning point, achieved through relentless commitment and working 14 to 18 hours a day for over a year. This decision transformed my career trajectory and instilled unwavering confidence, propelling me to conquer challenges with a resolute "yes.” Quitting my job and embarking on this self driven journey was the milestone that unleashed my professional potential, amplifying my achievements by leaps and bounds.
