I am an electrical engineer from a reputable college in Bangalore. Throughout my career, I have garnered extensive experience in various companies including Multi-Nationals, specializing in the Services sector, particularly within the power industry. Over the span of over 40 years, I have diligently honed my skills, gaining invaluable insights into the intricacies of this domain. Since 2018 I Have embarked on an exciting new phase of my professional journey, as I eagerly embrace a role in a company that focuses on transportation, design engineering and software services. This field captivates me with its dynamic challenges and cutting-edge technologies, and I am thrilled to contribute my expertise and passion to drive impactful innovations in this industry.

How would you define Asa Bhanu Technical Services as an organization and its current position in the market?
Asa Bhanu Technical Services (ABTS) was established in 1995 with a clear objective: to provide support to a large Japanese Corporation, in the realms of power stations, substations, and propulsion systems. Our journey has been marked by continuous growth and expansion. In addition to our initial services, we ventured into software development for factory automation and EPC of substations. The name 'Asa Bhanu' was thoughtfully chosen to represent our aspirations - combining the Japanese word for 'Morning' with the Sanskrit word for 'Sun'. Our portfolio showcases substantial projects in Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmadabad, Kochi, Lucknow, Kanpur and Dhaka Metros. Our dedication to quality and security is validated by our ISO 9000 and 27000 certifications. Recently, we achieved the prestigious IRIS certification, a significant milestone as ABTS is the first services company in India for Services in Rolling Stock, in India's railway-related sector. Throughout my extensive 40+ years of service, spanning various locations in India and abroad, I've confronted a myriad of tough challenges alongside colleagues and subordinates. Among these persistent challenges, the intricate balance between pricing strategies, maintaining company profitability, and meeting ever-evolving customer expectations stands as an ongoing trial, particularly in the face of losing orders to competitors. Engaging with clients and cultivating a robust network has proven essential in this intricate dance of commerce, enriching not only professional connections but also market insights. The onset of the pandemic showcased our adaptability as we seamlessly transitioned to remote work and online engineering, underscoring the power of innovation. Nevertheless, the most formidable adversary remains the taste of defeat when orders slip through our fingers. This bitter experience fuels introspection, pushing us to refine offerings and optimize processes. Upon reflection, I acknowledge that these challenges have woven an experiential tapestry, crafting an inspiring legacy for future generations professional journeys.
