How has your journey been so far at Hoffmann Group - India? What is the motivation that fuels your daily routine?
A significant turning point in my career arrived in 2018 when I engaged in transfor- mative discussions with Hoffmann Group - India, an ambitious startup aiming to establish its presence in the country. They sought an individual with expertise in both initiating ventures from scratch and revitalizing existing endeavours.
Being of Indian origin, they recognized the value of someone who comprehends the intricacies of the Indian market, the mindset of its customers, and the dynamics within the team. I proudly assumed the role of Managing Director for Hoffmann Group - India, taking on the responsibility of raising the Hoffmann flag within the nation. Relocating from Mumbai to Pune, I have since served as the dedicated leader, driving the company's growth and success.

You possess over twenty-six years of experience. How has been your path to success and what is your success mantra?
In my 26 years of experience, I have realized that embracing change is crucial for personal and professional growth. Comfort and growth cannot coexist therefore, I encourage my team and young talent to embrace challenges and navigate through change management. Flexibility and adaptability, instilled in me by my family, spouse, education, and support system, have been crucial to my journey. I have willingly shifted bases and taken on new job assignments, understanding that true growth requires expanding one's mindset, taking on greater responsibilities, and assuming ownership in all aspects of life. Change is an opportunity for transformation and a catalyst for success.

How would you define Hoffmann Group - India, as an organization and its current position in the market?

Our business philosophy revolves around pioneering simplicity and providing personalized solutions to our customers. Our operations extend throughout Asia, including China, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia, serving diverse industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and energy. As a customer-centric company, we closely engage with clients, understand their challenges, and offer tailored tools and equipment for their specific needs.

Tell us about your leadership approach. What are the guidelines or methodologies you follow to lead your team?
Throughout my leadership journey, my style has evolved from a 'Just Do It' mentality to a collaborative 'Let's Do It Together' approach. Actions speak louder than words, and I lead by example, inspiring my team to follow suit. Flexibility has been key, in adapting to different situations and finding effective solutions. I delegate smartly, empowering individuals with ownership. While demanding at times, I foster a solution-oriented mindset, seeking both short term fixes and sustainable long term solutions. I see myself as a Sherpa, the one that is guiding the team to their destination. This encapsulates my leadership style and philosophy.

What is the future destination you are heading towards?
My current goal revolves around establishing Hoffmann Group India as a leading brand for tooling solutions in the country while also creating a positive work environment. By 2025, I aim to position Hoffmann Group - India as one of the best companies to work for in India. I strive to be recognized as a catalyst for organizational development and rebuilding. I aspire to be a go-to person, offering valuable insights and guidance to organizations entering the Indian market. On a personal level, my goal is to ensure my children are well-settled, successful in their careers, and leading fulfilling lives within society, while my wife and I enjoy a peaceful existence.
