Google Launches Pixel 8a with Groundbreaking AI Features in India
Google has launched its latest A-series smartphone, the Pixel 8a, which is now available for pre-order in India via the e-commerce platform Flipkart. The new device features the powerful Tensor G3 chip and introduces innovative AI functionalities, such as Gemini and Circle to Search, enhancing the user experience.
The Pixel 8a is priced at Rs 52,999 for the 128GB variant and Rs 59,999 for the 256GB option. Its dual rear camera system comprises a 64-megapixel main lens and a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, while the front-facing camera also boasts 13 megapixels. Notable features include Super Res Zoom up to 8x, Magic Eraser, Night Sight, and Photo Unblur. Real Tone technology ensures accurate skin tone representation in photos and videos.
Google's built-in AI assistant, Gemini, allows for versatile interaction, enabling users to type, speak, and incorporate images into various tasks. The Circle to Search feature streamlines information retrieval without requiring app-switching.
The Pixel 8a is available in two new colors, limited edition Aloe and Bay, alongside the classic Obsidian and Porcelain options. It is set to receive seven years of software support, including security updates and Android OS upgrades.
