Visa Names Sujai Raina as the New Country Manager for India
Visa, the digital payments platform, announced the appointment of Sujai Raina as the new country manager for India. Additionally, Sandeep Ghosh will maintain his position as Group Country Manager for India and South Asia. In his role, Ghosh will supervise operations not only in India but also across other markets in the subcontinent, encompassing Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives, as per a statement released by Visa.
In his new role as country manager for India at Visa, Raina will take on the responsibility of overseeing the company's operations in the country. He will spearhead Visa's strategic initiatives in the Indian market and collaborate with clients and the payments ecosystem. Alongside his duties as country manager, Raina will also retain his role in leading business development efforts for Visa in India, according to a statement from the company. Raina, who joined Visa in 2020, previously held the position of Vice President and Head of Business Development in India.
