Motorola Names T.M. Narasimhan as MD of Mobile Business Group in India

As part of its dedication to the Indian smartphone market and its aspiration to secure a position among the top three smartphone brands, Motorola has bolstered its leadership in India by appointing T.M. Narasimhan to oversee the business operations, as mentioned by the company.

He will report to Prashanth Mani, who continues as the head of Motorola’s Asia Pacific business, as mentioned by the company. T.M. Narasimhan brings extensive expertise in sales operations, business and financial planning, and P&L Management, acquired through diverse roles in FMCG and consumer tech organizations such as PepsiCo, Britannia, and Samsung. Demonstrating a proven track record in team development and performance, he consistently achieved business objectives while maintaining a balance between short-term and long-term goals.

Expressing his thoughts on the new appointment, Prashanth Mani, Executive Director of Motorola Asia Pacific, remarked, “We are thrilled to welcome T.M. Narasimhan as we continue our expansion in India.
