In this tech-ade, education is never a one-time accomplishment. It’s a lifelong journey, with continuous learning, unlearning, and relearning now vital for career advancement and adaptability. Recognizing this evolving landscape, top universities worldwide are developing flexible programs and adaptive learning models designed for working professionals, helping narrow the global skills gap, especially in sustainability.

For instance, the Cambridge Institute for Sustain ability Leadership (CISL) is launching a fully online Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business (PCSB) this September, making it easier for professionals to expand their expertise and impact in sustainable
business. Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) provides specialized programs such as “Leadership for Net-Zero Economy” and “Mindfulness for Effective Leadership,” available online for mid and senior career professionals. IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA) features a popular “Leadership Skills” course focused on self-discovery and organizational effectiveness through its Online @IIMA platform. Additionally, the Indian School of Business(ISB) runs the “Online Leadership Essentials” program, which helps participants master skills in leading teams, managing stakeholders, and driving change across organizations.

Looking ahead, the global education market is on track to reach $10 trillion by 2030, fueled by rapid population growth in developing countries, heightened demand for upskilling in advanced economies, and the dynamic expansion of education sectors in Asia and Africa. The global e-learning market alone is projected to reach between $842 and $844 billion by 2030. In this special annual edition, we spotlight more stories from India’s e-learning ecosystem and invite you to share your insights and perspectives.
