Below is an excerpt of Deepak's interview with CEO Insights.
How would you define ZOTAC as an organization and its position in the market? What is the unique proposition that your products offer to your customers?
vZOTAC specializes in the manufacturing of graphics cards. As one of the most acknowledged OEMs in the country, ZOTAC is a brand under PC Partner Ltd. who has manufactured products for Acer, Fujitsu, Micron and many more. With a radiant engineering team and three R&D centers across Hong Kong, Shenzhen and the US, we have emerged as the masters of producing graphics cards.

Being the only brand that offers a five year extended warranty to its consumers implies the quality of our products and keeps us distinguished from ourcompetitors. As a premium graphic card manufacturing company operating
across the globe, including India, the US, Europe, APAC and ROAP, we are gradually gaining the confidence in our customers. ZOTAC has been the No.1 brand in India in NVIDIA Geforce graphics cards for more than seven years.

We have received various awards for the ZOTAC brand, and recently, we have received the 'Red Dot' award, one of the very prestigious awards from Germany for innovation and design of our Magnus Gaming PC. Currently, we are bolstering our portfolio by adopting gaming PCs and other small form factor products relevant to our offerings. We are one of the top manu facturers and producers of Nvidia graphics cards and in the Nvidia graphics' port folio, we are amongst the top five brands in Nvidia AIC's lineup across the globe and No.1 in India.

I have learned a great deal from each organization I have worked with which further cemented my position in the market as an industry leader

How has been your response to the challenges posed by the Covid affected market? How would you describe your role in tackling those challenges?
During the pandemic, the real challenge was to sustain business and ensure our survival. When the lock down started last year, the business was impacted because most of the business components were dependent on the traditional retail channel rather than the e-tail channel. By shifting our business to e-tail from retail, we were able to fulfill the demands from the local regions. We started witnessing a significant hike in demand from our customers after the first phase of lockdown, as most of the employees were working remotely and needed a PC while working from home.

In your professional journey so far, which are the milestones that bestowed you with utmost satisfaction both as an individual and as an entrepreneur?
Every time I switched my company, I was equipped with proficient industry experience and was ready to take on novel challenges. My journey from Asus to MSI and ZOTAC was milestones for me as I have learned a great deal from each organi zation I have worked with and
implemented innovative strategies across their operations, which further cemented my position in the market as an industry leader.

Going forward, what are the changes in market behavior that you anticipate and what are the opportunities that you foresee?
When I joined ZOTAC in 2008, the biggest task for me was to ensure mass communi cation, because at that point in time, social media was absent and the medium was scarce. The brands had to surge through traditional magazines, newspapers, and marketing via product reviews and so on, and our biggest challenge was to let the consumer know why they need a graphics card or why they need a GPU. But now, social media is everything and those traditional magazines, as well as newspapers, are far be-hind in today's marketing concept. Now you have to create a hygienic e-tail platform where consumers can buy the product easily. With crystal clear information and foolproof specifi cations of the product on the site, we are maintaining a close knit relationship with our consumers.
