Sapna's success stems from an in-depth view of business operations and a knack for implementing talent ecosystems to help organizations grow in a dynamic business environment. She started her professional life in the early 2000s with the Ministry of Defense, Singapore, where she used her aviation experience and teaching skills to develop training mission-critical packages. Sapna chiselled her experience through influential stints such as being a part of implementing the NHS in the UK and working with Hinduja Global Solutions, where she headed global content and learning.
In 2017, she founded Sound of the Sun with the purpose of creating people-first, scalable organizations using bespoke L&D
and training solutions. Backed by a dynamic core team, her leadership continues to drive the company’s growth as a one-stop destination for transformative workforce development. What approaches have you implemented to provide tailored talent solutions?
I advocate a flexible delivery model combining onshore and offsite talent, carefully aligning skills with client-specific needs. We maintain a diverse talent pool across various specialties and design staffing solutions with adaptable terms and continuous feedback. This ensures our teams are regularly upskilled, culturally aligned, and consistently meet performance expectations.
How do you ensure that individual skills align with the specific require -ments of your clients’ companies?
We follow a multi-stage screening process that includes technical assessments, role-based evaluations, and cultural fit analysis based on the client’s profile. Along with thorough reference checks and soft skill evaluations, we ensure our consultants possess both the required technical expertise and adaptability in communication to align with the client’s culture. This holistic approach helps us deliver candidates who are the right fit both technically and interpersonally.
How do you ensure that HR, technology, and payroll tools align with the core business objectives?
Sound of the Sun integrates modern HR platforms to unify payroll, attendance, performance tracking, and compliance in one system. Custom dashboards aligned with business KPIs provide real-time insights into workforce metrics, cost forecasting, and resource allocation, enabling pro -active strategic and scalability decisions.

I promote an open, dual-feedback culture, encourage continuous input on organizational and managerial practices, and strive to create cross-functional forums that foster shared learning and drive innovation.

My vision is to scale Sound of the Sun into a global leader in EdTech & Digital Learning Space, focused on digital transformation, enterprise upskilling, and innovation-led staffing. Over the next five years, I aim to expand into more tech hubs and develop AI-driven learning frameworks for enterprise clients, ensuring our work benefits both business and the broader ecosystem.
