With over 20 years of experience at global firms, including Capri Holdings, Ralph Lauren, and Deloitte, Satish founded Strategy Stack Consulting with the belief that advisory should go beyond presentations to deliver measurable impact. Under his leadership, Strategy Stack Consulting has developed playbooks and AI copilots to assist businesses in unlocking millions of dollars in savings and help Indian startups bring their ideas to market.
Satish’s journey is one of continuous growth and global exposure. Over the past two decades, he has spearheaded massive change initiatives where technology, operations and strategy overlapped, working hand in hand with CFOs and senior leaders to create the actual business value.
His vision to establish Strategy Stack Consulting, as an Indian consulting company in the pandemic, was influenced by the key experiences in end-to-end strategic planning and integrations and global transformation programs, where the firm possessed the ambition
and potential to be on par with global trendsetters, such as the Big Four and MBB. We are delighted to engage in an exclusive conversation with Satish, who walks us through the journey, leadership approach, and more.
How do you positively impact clients and help startups scale up?
In the case of large enterprises, we are largely concerned with optimizing costs. For example, we helped a client move from losses to profitability by identifying underutilized assets, optimizing financials, and enabling execution, while in another case, we led a three-year global transformation program that delivered on time and under budget, saving 30 million. When it comes to startups, our role is more about growth and scalability; we help them with fundraising, go-to-market strategy, and building operating models. A recent example is a tech startup with a strong product but no sales traction; we are helping them to raise capital, define their market plan, customer acquisition, and grow in a sustainable manner.
How do you stay updated with industry trends to keep your organization ahead of the competition?
Continuous learning is a core value for us. Personally, I have just done an advanced strategy and leadership program from Wharton School in the US, and I would encourage my team to undergo formal learning in terms of courses, online programs and webinars with specific targets on how the skills need to be developed. This focus ensures we constantly add value to our customers. We are applying these AI learnings to establish AI profiles and copilots to optimize costs and convert knowledge into practical tools for client success.

outcomes. In moderate situations, I provide guidance while empowering the team. In low-risk environments, I encourage ownership, experi- mentation, and even failure—as long as it drives learning. Above all, I emphasize accountability, including my own, and view failures as opportunities for growth.

My advice to future leaders is to keep learning, expanding skills, and developing leadership continuously. As companies grow, leaders must also scale their leadership; if they remain stagnant, the organization’s growth will be limited.
