Founder & CEO

In today’s rapidly shifting business environment, startups have emerged as powerful catalysts, transforming industries, redefining the way we work, and ushering in a bold era of innovation. Among the most successful and influential entrepreneurs are those who have combined deep technical knowledge with an unparalleled sense of design and user experience.

At the heart of this transformation is the legacy of India's prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), a breeding ground for some of the brightest minds who are not just creating products but are crafting the future. Siddhant Bansal, Founder and CEO of Griphic, perfectly exemplifies the fusion of technology and design.

An IIT Delhi graduate, Siddhant’s journey is a testament to the unique approach that IITians bring to the startup world, where deep technical acumen meets a keen understanding of user-centered design. His dedication to innovation was recognized when he was awarded the prestigious Young Business Leader of the Year title.

As Siddhant reflects on his journey, he traces his entrepreneurial path back to a simple but powerful realization. His obsession with how things work was equally matched by a fascination with how they look.

This balance of form and function led to the creation of Griphic, a platform where technology and design don’t just coexist, they collaborate.

Siddhant emphasizes the importance of staying agile, listening to customers, and evolving with the needs of the market. This philosophy is now embedded in the very DNA of Griphic, driving its continued success and relevance in a fast-paced, ever-changing world. Let’s dive in to know more.

What motivated you to start Griphic, and how have you been steering the company in a strategic direction?

Griphic was born from a straightforward need to integrate design, technology, and decision-making. I observed many companies struggling with fragmented tools and disconnected systems, and I wanted to create something that
would offer clarity, both visually and functionally.

From the outset, our mission has been to develop smart tools that not only look great but also enhance productivity. Whether it’s streamlining the hiring process with Cerebrus or creating workflows for internal operations, our approach has always been to merge creativity with practicality.

We prioritize ideas first and then bring in technology to bring those ideas to life

What are the key challenges you are working to address at the moment?

One of the biggest challenges facing industries today is hiring, particularly when it comes to intelligent hiring. Traditional resume-screening methods are no longer as effective as they once were.

This is where Cerebrus steps in. We assist companies in moving beyond paper credentials to truly understand candidates based on how they think, solve problems, and communicate. We are addressing the issue of high volumes while maintaining the human aspect of the hiring process. I believe this is exactly what the industry needs at this moment.

How do you identify new market opportunities to reach a broader range of clients?

A lot of our insights come from indirect feedback, market research, and closely observing where the industry is headed. We don’t believe in building features just for the sake of it, instead, we focus on incorporating what we learn into our products in ways that feel intuitive and genuinely useful. Our goal is to create something that our clients don’t just like, but truly love.

How do you cultivate a culture of innovation within the company? What are some of the latest technology trends you've integrated into the firm?

Innovation isn’t about simply chasing trends, it’s about finding smarter ways to solve real problems. We prioritize ideas first and then bring in technology to bring those ideas to life. Collaboration is at the core of our process, because at Griphic, innovation begins with a conver-sation.

While our brainstorming sessions are still oldschool, involving whiteboards, sticky notes, and plenty of back-and-forth, we do leverage technology when it comes to execution. For example, we use AI to streamline workflows, SharePoint to centralize documents, Teams to
stay connected, and automation to handle repetitive tasks. This allows our team to focus on the work that truly drives business impact.

What are your expectations for new opportunities emerging in the market in the future?

One of the major shifts we're witnessing is how impersonal the hiring process has become. CVs are often AI-generated, templated, or even completely fake, posing a significant risk to companies.

Cerebrus was our solution to this challenge. We recognized that to find the right candidates, it’s not enough to just screen resumes, you need to truly understand how they think, respond, and solve problems. This is where we’re focusing our efforts right now.

What does your future roadmap look like?

Currently, our primary focus is on scaling Cerebrus within the IT sector, where it’s already making a significant impact. However, we’re not stopping there. We are actively exploring ways to expand its reach into other industries, particularly those where hiring is both high-stakes and high-volume but still relies on outdated methods.

Our vision is clear. We want Cerebrus to become synonymous with hiring, not just a tool used by HR, but a platform that both companies and candidates trust to make the process fair, fast, and insightful. It’s an ambitious goal, but that’s exactly why we’re pursuing it.

We’re also working on evolving Cerebrus to consider the full picture, including how someone communicates, thinks, and presents themselves. These qualities truly matter once someone is hired.

Looking ahead, we envision Cerebrus becoming more than just a tool for companies. Candidates will be able to create profiles directly and become part of a growing pool of talent. If they’ve gone through the process and a relevant role arises, we’ll connect them with that opportunity.

And as innovation is at the heart of Griphic, we plan to explore other avenues down the line to continue pushing boundaries.
