Quant Mutual Fund has announced the appointment of Rajnish Kumar as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the AMC. Kumar, a former Chairman of the State Bank of India, brings over 40 years of exceptional experience in both Indian and global banking, as stated in the monthly release from the fund house.
Additionally, the fund house indicated that since his retirement from SBI, Rajnish has been advising prominent corporates and global institutions, establishing himself as a reliable authority in governance, risk management, and financial innovation.
The fund house, led by Sandeep Tandon, also revealed the appointment of Nishith Mehta as Chairman and Independent Director of the AMC Board. Mehta has over 15 years of experience as the Asia-Pacific Head of Compliance & Operational Risk and served as the Chief Compliance Officer for India at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

The QSIF Equity Long-Short Fund provides several advantages, including the ability to seize opportunities on both the upside and downside, reducing overall market risk exposure, and employing hedging mechanisms to safeguard against abrupt downturns.
