Dr. M.R. Pattabiram, the Founder Trustee of M S Ramaiah Foundation, is the proud son of the visionary educationist Shri. M.S. Ramaiah and at a very early age, stood shoulder to shoulder with his father in running a Medical College, a Management Institute, a Law College, and a 1000-bed Medical Teaching Hospital successfully. He firmly believes in a humane approach to management and has built a team of committed faculty and support staff.

Take us through your educational and professional background. Also, what are the key features of RIMS’s Business Analytics Programs?
I have an undergraduate degree and a post-graduate degree in Commerce from Bangalore University and a Ph.D. degree from the Swiss Business School, Switzerland for research work on Gandhian studies. I’ve more than four decades of experience in running educational institutions in the areas of Medicine, Law, Management, and Business Studies.
The AICTE-approved Post Graduate Diploma in Management(PGDM) program with Business
Analytics specialization is an intensive two-year program that prepares the student to take advantage of the demand for trained Business Analytics professionals. During the first year of the program, students learn the basics of Management and in the second year, the student specializes in the core area of Analytics comprising R Programming & Predictive Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing & Data Mining, Data Visualization, and Business Reporting, Python, Big Data Analytics, and a Capstone project.
