Following the sudden passing of his father Vincent Fernandes, an insurance agent, in 2014, he started exploring financial services on a part-time basis. Gradually, this interest grew stronger, leading him to shift his focus entirely to the financial sector in 2017, after completing his graduation.
Determined to continue his father’s legacy and make financial planning more accessible, he went on to establish Wealixir, a financial consulting firm specializing in insurance, investments, and tax planning, serving over 3,000 families and corporations across India and globally. With a belief that wealth creation is not just transactional but built on deep, long-term relationships, often spanning generations, he wants to make financial planning seamless by integrating cutting-edge technology with personalized financial solutions.

What challenges do customers face in managing different aspects of their financial portfolio? How do you effectively address these financial management challenges?
Customers today face several challenges in managing their financial portfolios. First, financial products are often sold with a product-first approach rather than a need-first approach, making it difficult for individuals to find solutions tailored to their unique goals. Second, consolidating financial data from multiple sources, such as banks, insurers, and investment firms, is
cumbersome, leading to a lack of clarity. Third, frequent changes in taxation laws and regulations require constant strategy adjustments, which can be overwhelming.
At Wealixir, we address these challenges with a client-first, holistic approach. We create personalized investment portfolios tailored to each individual’s unique needs and life goals. Our proprietary technology provides clients with a comprehensive dashboard that allows them to view their entire portfolio at a glance and make informed decisions quickly.
We bring all essential financial services, including investments, insurance, and taxation, under one roof. This eliminates the hassle of dealing with multiple advisors and ensures seamless financial planning without miscommunication.
What key steps should be taken to create sustainable value for customers in today’s evolving economic and business landscape?
We have digitized our entire execution process, minimized paperwork, and enabled seamless transactions with just an OTP, anytime, anywhere to empower our clients in today’s fast-paced world. In addition, we have automated portfolio tracking and reporting through our app to give clients real-time access to their financial data.
We want to ensure that our clients thrive in this dynamic financial environment by combining personalized service with cutting-edge technology. Therefore, we are integrating AI and chatbots to further enhance user experience, making financial management smarter and more intuitive.
Where do you see yourself in the next few years?
I have always been inspired by the television series ‘Suits’ and the way Harvey Specter runs his firm, with confidence, ambition, and an unshakable commitment to excellence. That’s exactly how I see our journey in the financial world.

The financial world is vast and constantly evolving, so never stop asking questions, exploring new solutions, and finding better ways to serve your clients. The moment you stop learning, you stop growing. Relationships are everything in this industry. Business is built on trust, and strong relationships will take you further than anything else.
Another key lesson is to embrace change. It can be daunting, but it’s also where the biggest opportunities lie. Be open to new ideas and technologies because the landscape is shifting rapidly, and only those who adapt will thrive. Finally, take care of yourself. Leadership is demanding, and it’s easy to burn out. Make time for your personal life, your family, and your passions to create a lasting, and positive impact.
