How is the adoption of advanced technologies re- shaping pharmaceutical research and development, and what key benefits are these innovations delivering in terms of speed, accuracy, and patient outcomes?

Advanced technologies are transforming pharmaceutical research and development by making processes faster, more accurate, and patient-centric. With the integration of AI, machine learning, deep learning, and robotics I see tremendous oppor -tunities to accelerate drug discovery and development.

These technologies enable the rapid analysis of vast biological and chemical datasets, helping predict drug efficacy, toxicity, and potential side effects with greater precision. AI also optimizes clinical trial processes, reducing development timelines and costs while supporting the creation of personalized therapies.

Robotics further enhances manufacturing efficiency by improving accuracy, consistency, and productivity with minimal human intervention, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes.

I believe growth is now being fueled by innovative formula -tions such as inhalers, sustained-release pro- ducts, and biosimilars

What key trends are defining the global generic pharmaceutical market today, and how are companies adapting to changing regulations, pricing pre- ssures, and growing competition while main- taining innovation and quality standards?

The global generic pharmaceutical market is increasingly shifting from traditional, low-margin products toward complex generics, biosimilars, and oncology therapies. Rising healthcare costs and resource expenses are driving this transition.

I believe growth is now being fueled by innovative formulations such as inhalers, sustained release products and biosimilars. Companies are strengthening local manufacturing of APIs and raw materials to address geopolitical uncertainties and supplychain risks.

Strategic mergers and acquisitions are helping organizations enhance scale, regulatory capabilities, and R&D strength. Additionally, many manufacturers are focusing on branded generics and incremental product innovations that improve drug delivery, minimize side effects, and enhance patient compliance.

Creating high-performing teams, encour -aging ownership, ensuring fair performance evaluation, and driving technology upgrades and project execution are key elements of my leadership approach.

How do you keep yourself up-to-date with ongoing industry trends to steer your organization towards the future?

I stay informed through a combination of industry magazines, business journals, global news sources, and professional networks. Regular interactions with colleagues and industry peers provide valuable insights into emerging trends and best practices.

I also closely follow developments in pharmaceutical innovation, technology, and regulatory changes through various platforms. Participation in mergers, acquisitions, collaborations, and strategic business initiatives further broadens my perspective and helps me understand evolving market dynamics.

Continuous learning and staying connected with industry developments enable me to make informed decisions and guide the organization toward sustainable growth and future opportunities.
