The mining & metals industry is constantly evolving, with new market trends emerging and shaping the landscape. One of the most significant trends in recent years has been the increasing demand for sustainable practices in the industry. Today's leaders focus on developing new strategies and approaches to manage the industry's environmental impact and promote sustainability. These trends are driving innovation and growth in the industry, with companies and leaders who prioritize sustainability and technological advancement leading the way. Naveen Goel is the Director of Murti Udyog Limited, a company that provides high-quality metal alloys and wires to various industries. With over three decades of experience in the industry, Naveen's innovative approach and commitment to quality have enabled the company to manufacture alloys previously unavailable in India.

With a professional journey that began in 1989, Naveen has gained extensive knowledge in various aspects of the trade and industry, including testing, inspection, documents, and tax laws. His expertise and experience have been instrumental in developing new alloys and products in the company, including the pioneering AlTiB alloy and aluminum MIG wires. Recently, Naveen Goel engaged in an interactive session with the CEO Insights Magazine, let’s hear from him.

Could you describe your career path and how has been your professional journey so far?
My professional journey began in 1989 when I was mentored by my father Late Bishan Dayal Goel in our family business, Shri Mahalaxmi Copper and Wire Industries and Mahalaxmi Sales Corporation in Delhi. Both of these businesses were established under the leadership of my late father in the year 1958 who was a pioneer in the manufacturing and trading of Bare Copper Wires and electrical and
metal products. I handled the business operations and was instrumental in modernizing the manufacturing unit between 1994-96. In 1997, my elder brother Praveen Goel already successfully running his EPC business rejoined the family business and we continued to grow. In 2007, we incorporated Murti Udyog and set up a manufacturing plant in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan.

I believe in leading by example and pioneering quality products & technology to give complete customer satisfaction

During this journey, I understood various aspects of the trade and industry, such as testing, inspection documents, Sales Tax, Excise, Criminal and Civil law, and technology. Dealing with the Wholesale market of Old Delhi gave me a great opportunity to interact with people across India and learn about their behavior & expectations. Understanding market demand and in a zest to develop new products I successfully developed AlTiB alloy, Aluminium MIG wires, and some other alloys and products like Aluminium Master Alloys , Flip Coils, Wire rods in 1000, 2000, 4000, 5000 & 6000 series & AL 59 ACSR to name a few.

When developing effective corporate growth strategies, we prioritize innovation through state-of-the-art technology, producing quality products and technology that provide complete customer satisfaction.

What steps do you take to maintain product quality at every level, and what are your future goals as a company?
We ensure that our products maintain high-quality standards by utilizing only quality raw materials and tools, conducting 100 percent preventive maintenance, and performing rigorous quality checks at each stage.
