Give a brief account of your professional background and experiences.
My journey as a mechanical engineer turned sales and marketing/customer support professional to one who has the responsibility of profit and loss (P&L) of an organization started nearly three decades ago. I began my professional career working as an engineer trainee with a leading specialty chemical company which helped me to gain more experience in the field of sales and marketing. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to be a part of various prestigious business organizations including spearheading the sales of a US MNC in both the domestic and international markets. Also, throughout my career, I have been able to learn more about a plethora of sales and marketing aspects including customer support, strategy formulation, developing
market, on boarding channel partners, market analysis, market research, and pricing strategies to name a few.

What drives you today as a leader?
My motivation is to achieve my passion which is the long term and shortterm goals we have set for ourselves. These goals are further broken down to daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. When I achieve these goals, it gives me immense satisfaction. I also get motivated to work hard with young people as they bring fresh and innovative ideas and I try to learn from them and implement it.

Be open to learn constantly & improve yourselves as it is important if you want to remain competitive, so make sure you keep yourselves abreast with the latest developments in your industry & stay focused on your goals

Could you tell us about the unique experiences IIM Indore offers?
There are some important learning experiences that I had at IIM Indore and one of them is networking. This helped me to network with many learners who are from different fields. The second is data analysis and all the business decisions I take now are based on data analysis. I have also been able to go through a multitude of case studies and this has helped me to become a passionate learner. Another thing that I picked up from the institute is to learn from everyone by observing them.

Could you tell us about the unique traits of your leadership? Also, how do you keep yourselves up to date with the changes happening in the industry?
We focus on four main concepts including innovation, collaboration, respect, and recognition. Innovation helps us to think outside the box and strive for continuous development. Collaboration among our people, and channel partners are also crucial and I even try to collaborate with investors. We give major emphasis on mutual respect between everyone in the organi
zation. Also, recognition always motivates people to achieve goals and put more effort.

What are your future plans and as an industry stalwart, what advice would you like to give to budding industry leaders?
We want to be one of the most prestigious and admired companies in industrial cleaning solutions. We want to continue developing products and technology which have the least environmental impact, safe for users, and improving efficiency and productivity for our customers. We are also exploring new technologies that are best in the world and we are aiming to set up a green manufacturing facility in three to four years and become a public listed company by 2028. Another goal, we have set for ourselves is to reach 100 crores within five to eight years by not only selling in the domestic market but by also exporting to global markets.

When it comes to my advice, one should be able to adapt to the ever-evolving market conditions and stay ahead of the curve if they want to achieve sustained success in the industry. They must be aware of the technologies that are not only of their field but also about technology that will help them improve their efficiency. Be open to learn constantly and improve yourselves as it is important if you want to remain competitive, so make sure you keep yourselves abreast with the latest developments in your industry and stay focused on your goals. Constant learning will also help you to identify new market opportunities that you can utilize. One should also have good knowledge on financial control as it will help you to not only run your business efficiently but it will also help you to expand your business when the time comes. Also, understand that there are immense opportunities to grow in India, so be persistent in your pursuit for success.
