Please elaborate on your educational and professional experiences.
I graduated from CIPET in Chennai with a degree in Plastics Technology and went on to obtain an MBA in Operations at the National Institute of Business Management. Throughout my career,I've worked for companies like Volkswagen, Visteon, Bosch, and Nobel as well as Indian companies like Motherson, Uno Minda Group, and Neolite ZKW. And right now, I'm the President of Venture Automotive Tooling India Pvt. Ltd. a global player in the engineering services sector focused on the automotive industry.

Define Venture Global as an Organization. What makes the company unique?
Venture is a Detroit based 'art to part' engineering, toolingand plastic components supplier with annual revenue of around 2 billion dollars. We have production plants and Engineering services in South Africa,
China, Australia, India, Russia, Malaysia, and the United States, and employ around 14,000 people. In addition to automotive and plastics Venture Global also specializes in
aircraft craft parts construction engineering, renewable energy, and other products and services.

In India, Venture Automotive Tooling India Pvt. Ltd was developed in 2010 as a Modern Tool Room in SriCity, Andhra Pradesh, as one of the nation's largest Tool Room. We provide Design Engineering, Process Engineering, Reverse Engineering, Mould Manufacturing and Knowledge Based Engineering services as a high end Engineering Solutions provider.

What are the most recent technologies used in tooling design and engineering for product manufacturing?
Mold design CAM programming and simulations are all done using the Visi Platform, which is the foundation for our Design & Engineering team. CNC VMC/HMC Makino HMC & VMC with 3 meter bed size, Yoneda with 3.5 meters, Makino EDM with 2.5-meter bed size, Makino Wire-EDM, Co-Ord CMM with sedan car size measurement range,Largest Gun Drilling Machine for deeper and longer hole processing Dedicated Tooling Bays with independent Cranes(four nos) and Injection Molding Machine ranging from 80T to 2500T exclusively for Trial purposes are all available in this Tool Room.

Could you provide us an overview of the upcoming prefabricated house solutions projects?
This is a product from our group that is doing well in other nations. We are now exploring market interests and possible pitfall areas in India in order to promote it. We may very soon add this pre-fabrication structure(not only House) into our portfolio.

What are the major milestones in your professional journey that have
provided you with utmost satisfaction as a professional?
Achieved the budget not just in terms of the top line, but also with a record breaking bottom line during the pandemic year.(i) Built 3 Automotive (Tier1) product manufacturing industries right from inception to conception to Realization.(ii)Last fifteen years, I focused on Automotive Lighting development, especially for Japanese and European Car manufacturers.(iii)For one of the world's largest automotive companies, I wrote and published an official book called Customer Voice that integrated actual customers'requirements vs manufacturers' perspectives on customers' requirements.(iv) Working for a social cause which includes mentoring and initiating the youth for changing the system, utilizing opportunities, and spreading awareness among the community to place Engineering Graduates in a better position.

Based on your experiences, what would be your advice to entrepreneurs starting a new in this domain?
Given the current state of affairs, I believe I would welcome entrepreneurs to stake a claim on our domain. If we look at the market, we can see that 80 percent of these kinds of products come from China,
with a few from Korea, Taiwan, and other places. Why? The answer from the Atma Nirbhar program will undoubtedly provide valuable insight and advice in addition to the question.

Saravanan Janakiraman was born and raised in a middle class family in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He was brought up to believe that whatever he did would make a difference. He began his career as a Tool Designer in Ambattur Industrial Estate, earning a Diploma in Plastic Mold Technology before advancing to the highest level of qualification an MBA from a reputable university and is now an ardent Automotive Products Manufacturing professional.
