Alvarez & Marsal Appoints Ashish Bansal as MD and Co-leader of TAG

AlvarezAlvarez & Marsal, a prominent management consulting firm, has appointed Ashish Bansal as the Managing Director and Co-leader of its India Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) practice, effective immediately. With approximately 23 years of experience spanning various sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, auto components, diversified industrials, consumer, and retail, Ashish brings a wealth of expertise to the leadership team. He most recently held a position as a Partner at KPMG India and has been associated with KPMG India since 2004, serving in multiple leadership capacities including Director and Associate Director. In his earlier roles, he worked at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. as an Assistant Manager and at Ernst & Young as an Associate.

In his new position, Ashish will collaborate closely with Bhavik Hathi, Managing Director at A&M, overseeing the expansion of TAG in Asia. They will work alongside senior leaders located in Australia and China. Welcoming Ashish to the leadership team, Paul Aversano, MD and Global Practice Leader of A&M’s Global TAG, stated, "In a strategic move, we've strengthened our geographic capabilities and expanded our global network of transaction professionals on the ground to assist private equity (PE) and corporate clients in successful investments.
