GE Power appoints Pramath Nath as CHRO

GEUS-based multinational energy technology company GE Power announced that Pramath Nath has been elevated as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)- Asia Pacific & Japan. Earlier, he was HR & CSR Leader - South Asia, Steam Power.

Nath had joined GE Power in 2019 as the HR Leader of Steam Power in South Asia and took over CSR and Facilities functions within a few months of joining.

At present, his role expands beyond South Asia to Asia Pacific and Japan as the HR Leader in GE Steam Power, working with the business leaders in 15 countries in the region. He continues to lead the CSR and Facilities for India.

Previously, he had managed various HR functions at Hewlett-Packard. At HP, in his last role as Global Talent Manager, Nath led Talent Management, Succession Planning and Leadership Development for seven of HP's CXOs who reported to the Global CEO.

Nath carries 23 years of experience serving various roles across sectors. Before joining GE Power, he had worked with KPMG India for more than six years. He joined KPMG India as Director - Human Resources and later took the role of Executive Director. It is this deep expertise he brings to his promotion at GE Power.

In 2018, General Electric power plants produced one-third of the world's electricity. GE had nine decades of history in industrial power production  including building a record-capacity three-phase generator for Niagara Falls in 1918 and installation of generators at the Grand Coulee Dam in 1942.
