InfosysInfosys, an Indian IT services firm, has initiated a five-year partnership with LKQ Europe, an automotive aftermarket parts distributor, aimed at streamlining business processes and technology integration. In a statement, Infosys highlighted its role in unifying and standardizing diverse business processes and systems to foster synergies and achieve cost efficiencies within LKQ Europe. This collaboration aligns with Infosys' strategic direction, emphasizing its expansion plans in Europe, particularly focusing on opportunities involving advanced digital technologies. The Bengaluru-headquartered IT company has observed a notable rise in its European business, showcasing a 5% revenue growth in constant currency during the July to September quarter, in contrast to limited growth in the US.

Infosys recently formed partnerships during the current quarter, including agreements with Proximus, a Belgian digital services and communications solutions provider, and clever Europe GmbH, an electric mobility startup. Additionally, it inaugurated a new proximity center in Sofia, Bulgaria, last month, committing to hiring local talent and plans to attract, re-skill, and up-skill 500 new employees within the next four years. LKQ Europe, a distributor of automotive aftermarket parts across Europe for various vehicles, intends to leverage Infosys' specialized knowledge in automotive and distribution solutions. The aim is to implement robust systems that drive sustainable productivity and support their long-term business goals.

Varun Laroyia, CEO of LKQ Europe, expressed that this initiative extends their original program, focusing on creating a more efficient and impactful organization. With Infosys as their strategic partner, the objective is to simplify operations, enhance efficiency, and capitalize on their strengths. Laroyia emphasized that these efforts would enable a heightened emphasis on customer-centricity, ensuring top-notch customer experiences, and further solidifying their leading position in the industry.
