Pocket FM Names Akansha Kumari as the Head of Product

Pocket FM has revealed the appointment of Akansha Kumari as the Head of Product, as the audio series platform aims to enhance a scalable and user-centric entertainment experience for audiences worldwide.

Akansha began her journey at Pocket FM as AVP – Product, where her initial focus was on improving long-term user retention through loyalty initiatives and subscription models.

After six months, her role expanded to encompass the overall revenue and business model management of the platform, which includes advertising, in-app purchases, and subscriptions.

During this time, the company launched new monetization strategies aligned with its broader objective of making audio storytelling accessible and captivating for a wider audience. In her new position, Akansha will take charge of the platform's product strategy and implementation.

She will manage the user experience from onboarding and content discovery to engagement and monetization, while also emphasizing innovation, operational efficiency, and growth on an international scale.

Akansha Kumari says, “Stepping into this role is both a privilege and a responsibility. Akansha will report to Prateek Dixit, Co-founder of Pocket FM.
