AheadAhead of the year-end festivities, Simpl India's prominent Checkout Network has announced a collaboration with Swiggy, a leading on-demand convenience platform in India. This partnership aims to provide millions of customers with a streamlined 1-tap Checkout experience across various services including food delivery, Swiggy instamart, and soon to be integrated into Dineout and Swiggy Genie. The collaboration holds significance as the demand for Swiggy's on-demand services surges significantly during the holiday season, primarily driven by Christmas and New Year's Eve celebrations. This surge, combined with the occurrence of five weekends in December, is expected to notably escalate the demand for services offered by food and hyperlocal delivery companies.

Through this collaboration, millions of customers nationwide will gain the ability to place orders from over 2.9 lakh restaurant partners available on Swiggy. Additionally, they can access numerous products from Swiggy instamart, while also utilizing various other services provided by Swiggy, all facilitated through Simpl's convenient 1-Tap feature.

Nitya Sharma, Founder and CEO of Simpl, highlighted the increasing customer preference for convenience in online transactions, particularly in the food and hyperlocal delivery sectors. Given the frequent use of these services throughout the day, Sharma emphasized the importance of a swift and user-friendly checkout process to enhance the overall customer experience. Sharma expressed that Simpl, as a customer-centric organization, aims to offer greater convenience and reliability through its partnership with Swiggy. The collaboration is designed to cater to their combined customer base during the upcoming holiday season while reinforcing their presence in a market where convenience plays a pivotal role.

Presently, Simpl's 1-Tap Checkout is utilized by various prominent enterprises and emerging Direct-to-Customer (D2C) merchants in the food and hyperlocal delivery domain, benefiting millions of customers nationwide. Over the past two years, Simpl has witnessed substantial growth, experiencing a 75% increase in transactions within the food, beverages, and hyperlocal categories, accompanied by a 48% rise in transacting users.
