Truecaller Names Vikas Khanna as Senior Director, Ad Sales

Truecaller has declared the appointment of Vikas Khanna as Senior Director of Ad Sales for Truecaller India. Vikas will head Truecaller’s direct sales operations in India, concentrating on expanding direct brand collaborations, increasing premium inventory usage, and implementing industry-specific solutions as Truecaller propels the next growth phase of its advertising business.

In the last year, Truecaller has effectively restructured its advertising division, moving towards industry-focused, data-informed sales solutions that enable advertisers to acquire deeper insights, learn more swiftly, and forge more customized, results-oriented partnerships.

This development has facilitated the launch of exclusive, direct-only inventory, tailored innovation packages, and options that surpass conventional third-party inventory access. Simultaneously, Truecaller has enhanced its measurement skills via sophisticated analytics and AI-driven insights, featuring the introduction of ROI of Trust—a unique framework that illustrates the genuine business effects of trust-oriented advertising through concrete advertiser results and case studies.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience in print, television, and digital media, Vikas’s hiring substantially enhances Truecaller ads' senior leadership team. He has a demonstrated history of developing and expanding high-impact advertising enterprises and comes to Truecaller after serving in senior leadership positions at several of India’s most esteemed media and technology companies, such as Jio Hotstar, Star Sports, ITV Network, TikTok, NewsX, TV18, NDTV Network, Times of India, and the India Today Group.
