US President Donald  Trump says he would "take a look" at the possibility of deporting Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, deepening a fierce and personal feud between the two.  Trump's remark followed closely after he delivered a harsh criticism of Musk regarding government subsidies and the electric vehicle mandate.

In a Truth Social post, Trump stated that Musk "might need to shut down and return to South Africa," contending that the billionaire had obtained "greater subsidies than anyone else in history."

He cautioned that without the federal contracts and tax incentives, Musk's businesses would fail, halting rocket launches, satellite production, and electric vehicle manufacturing in the US.

"Maybe we ought to have DOGE examine this closely?" Trump mentioned, alluding to the Department of Government Efficiency, the precise agency Musk previously led. "SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS AHEAD!!!"

Musk replied on his platform X, "I’m genuinely saying REMOVE EVERYTHING." "Currently."

Musk similarly charged legislators with betrayal, stating, "Every Congress member who ran on cutting government spending and then promptly supported the largest debt hike ever should feel shame."
