He started as a medical representative, which prepared him for his early experiences working in the business world. He then moved to a multinational firm in North India, where he worked as a MIS specialist. Dr. Sunil decided to leave his job and enter the export industry despite his success in the corporate world because he felt drawn to something different. He started exporting gold and silver jewellery, using his commercial acumen despite having yet to gain experience in the industry.
But Dr. Sunil took a different turn when he met with a psychotherapist and entered the field of hypnosis. Dissatisfied with traditional psychotherapy, he turned to hypnosis for the answers he was looking for and decided to learn more about this complementary therapy. His love of healing drove him to earn certifications as a hypnotherapist, trainer, and author. He joined global organizations, rose to prominence as a speaker on several topics, and wrote four books. How would you describe your time at the Faculty of Management Studies?
Not only were the academics at the Faculty of Management Studies exceptional, but I also had a wealth of extracurricular activities that made my stay there unforgettable. I learned so much about the workings of the corporate world from my coworkers during casual chats which was far more than what we were taught in lectures on marketing, finance, or advertising.
As the CEO of Sam International, what kind of strategic insight and governance expertise do you bring to the table from your rich professional experience as a leader?
With over 30 years of experience in the jewellery export sector, I bring a unique blend of strategic insight and hands-on governance to my role as CEO of Sam International. I was trained to build a factory and work on complex product designs that passed international standards when I teamed up with an Israeli buyer who is still my client today. From this partnership, I learned how important it is to sit down with my employees, comprehend their workflows, and always strive for quality improvement.
I have been able to build Sam International into a reputable brand in Israel & US for premium Judaica items by investing in cutting-edge machinery and streamlining our manufacturing processes.
You are also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist at California Hypnosis Institute Gurugram, how do you continue to add more stars to the institute through your learnings?
My main emphasis as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist at California Hypnosis Institute Gurugram is practical, hands-on training, which is crucial for producing competent hypnotists. I have noticed that while theory is generally stressed in institutes, practical practice is frequently absent. Due to this void, novice hypnotists are unsure how to run sessions efficiently.

What do you look forward to for the next chapter of your professional journey, in the future?
My attention is split between two areas as I eagerly await the next phase of my career. As an exporter, working for a living is necessary to maintain my standard of living and financial security. Nonetheless, hypnotherapy healing and training are my actual areas of passion. I believe in empowering people to overcome trauma and make meaningful life changes by using this potent instrument.
When I witness folks I have helped and healed who are prospering, I discover inner peace and contentment. In the next stage of my journey, I want to leave this legacy behind.
