Throw some light on your professional background and experiences. What inspired you to pursue a career in the field of learning and development, training, and coaching?

My journey into the realms of learning and development, training, and coaching has been a combination of diverse experiences and passion. With an MBA in both Marketing and HR and an MSc in Applied Statistics, my career embarked on a path less covered. Departing from prestigious roles in the public sector and group one position in State Government, I sought a corporate landscape more attuned to my innate drive for public speaking, training, and people development.

My tenure with organizations like Aragen Life Sciences, Cognizant, and CORELOGIC has sculpted me into a multifaceted professional.
Delving deep into learning and development, organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement, I've thrived in the transformative domain of HR. From developing employee value propositions to crafting high impact interventions, mentoring leaders and conducting engagement surveys, my hands-on experience spans a spectrum of HR functions.

Certified as a coach, I've guided numerous managers and mid-level leaders, infusing industries like IT and life sciences with impactful leadership and mentorship. My passion lies in the fusion of two realms: a profound connection with people and the ability to catalyze positive change. In training and development, I find the ideal way to blend my passions. Each interaction becomes a chance to spark growth and create a real impact. This journey, fueled by intrinsic motivation, resonates with my deepest aspirations, making it not just a career but a calling.

As the AVP HR, what are the factors you consider while building a successful HR team? What are the traits that you look for in a potential team member?

As the AVP HR, building a successful HR team demands a delicate balance of strategic foresight and hands-on execu -
tion. I prioritize individuals with a keen ability to navigate the organizational landscape, viewing it both from a bird's-eye perspective and at ground level. Right thinking, not just strategic but practical, is paramount. Energy is another key trait, vital for igniting passion and driving initiatives forward, even when not explicitly demanded by the business.

Collaboration and emotional resilience are non-negotiable, fostering a supportive environment. Significantly, I seek out team members with impeccable execution skills, bridging the gap between conceptualization and implementation. Complementary skills are valued, ensuring a diverse yet cohesive team capable of achieving remarkable outcomes. My team's success is a testament to their dedication and willingness to go above and beyond, driving our shared vision forward.

What are your plans for the future?

I am venturing into entrepreneurship with the launch of my consulting firm, heralding a new chapter in my journey. Focused on guiding individuals and Organizations toward fulfilment and success, our approach centres on holistic solutions tailored to their needs. Embracing social media, we aim to expand our reach and impact, making learning engaging and accessible. Additionally, establishing a Non Profit Organization, Better Life Foundation, under scores commitment to social responsibility, channeling efforts toward orphanages, schools, and skill development initiatives. Eventually, my goal is to foster a community dedicated to paying forward the knowledge and goodness received.
