In an exclusive interview with CEO INSIGHTS, Anup Arora, Founder & Managing Director at Greenroots Renewable Energy walks us through his professional journey as well as unique traits of the company.

Tell us about your professional background and experiences. What was your inspiration for building a career in the manufacturing industry and what keeps you going?
Started my career in the manufacturing domain with Asahi India Glass Ltd in 1996. About 10 years of working in an environment which hovered around quality, productivity, safety and robust systems gave me the needed experience to carry forward my professional journey.

Post which, I joined ACME TelePower (which is Now ACME cleantech). It was a growing telecom infrastructure company, but ACME consistently had a focus on new technologies like fuel cell, cooling solutions, and renewable energy. About nine years working with ACME in different roles right from manufacturing, ERP, Design & Engineering, Cost Optimization and Solar Power Projects was a good

experience across different work portfolios. Taking new challenges, understanding new technology and solving problems always motivate me to move ahead.

What has been your driving force that led you to reach the level you shoulder responsibilities today?
I always had a strong desire to work in a variety of industrial sectors. Curiosity to learn more has always been the driving force behind where I am now. As it has become increasingly important to remain relevant with changing market demands, I have been quite clear that Solar Energy is a highly feasible alternative, as energy consumption increases year after year fossil fuel is not a sustainable method. Solar energy is becoming the most cost-effective and ecologically beneficial way to generate electricity. This was the driving force for the formation of Greenroots Renewable Energy.

Define Greenroots Renewable Energy as an organization. Where is it positioned in the market?
Greenroots Renewable Energy is an end-to-end solar solution provider. Our in-house design execution and robust O&M team not only enable a seamless installation, but also ensure quality is maintained to its optimum. We have maintained a perfect position in India’s Top 30 Rooftop companies. We were recognized as ‘Rooftop EPC Company of the Year 2020 for Rajasthan in Industrial’ Category by EQ Magazine.

What are the fundamental factors you consider while catering to the custom requirements of clients as you offer solutions for residential, commercial, industrial segments?
Our focus has always been towards making ourselves customer centric. We try to make every customer understand the positive impact of leveraging solar solutions. For instance, in some areas where grid failure is a regular routine, Solar on grid systems will not effective and customers will not get the expected will not from solar plants.So a prospective customer should install a hybrid system which will work even Grid failure and perform better then on grid system. Our technically-adept team ensures that our customers are benefited from our solutions A team not only monitor solar generation but also ensure savings in electricity bills. So not only we offer Solar Solutions but also handhold our customers thoroughly.
