COOs Out of Schools

Sometimes a little help could take us a long way. Given the catastrophic business effects of the pandemic, these have become the words to live by for business leaders, especially in the operational department. Chief Operating Officers (COOs) need to amass all the help and support they can muster to come out of this tunnel. But with the dramatic events that unfolded over the past two years, it is interesting to try to fathom what the future holds for the COOs the uncertainty of it.
It goes without saying; to position a business on growth course, a trailblazing COO must embrace new ways, recalibrate their priorities, and focus on cost control and efficiency. As traditional boundaries fade, a COO must not only be a company's strategic partner but a direct growth enabler. Being an excellent modern-day COO might be a virtue, but educational institutions need to play more advanced roles in paving the way for this.

The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow), one of the country's premier management education institutes and ranked at #6 among the top B-Schools in India as per NIRF, 2022, is setting a significant precedent. IIM Lucknow has announced the launch of the second batch of the first-of-its-kind Chief Operations Officer Program on December 30, 2022, with Emeritus, the global leader committed to making high-quality education accessible and affordable to all. Indeed, IIM Lucknow has always been at the forefront of breaking new grounds and facilitating the business realm. The prestigious alumni of the institute are a solid testament to this.
