New Programs in IIT Kanpur

IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kanpur has been at the forefront of innovation and traveling as close as possible to the industry realm since its inception in 1959. Over the years, the institute has witnessed strong growth in its R&D (Research and Development) activities and has won more than 60 patents, including three international ones. As IIT Kanpur continues to set benchmarks in reducing the gap between industry and academia, the institute has recently launched four-week online certificate programs in AI, machine learning (ML), and

deep learning(DL), offering hands-on experience with Python and real world datasets to students, profes-sionals, and researchers.

The four-week crash course will be conducted through video conferencing from December 1 to 27. The program is set to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and handson experience in these futuristic fields. The program is aimed at diverse candidates, including scholars, students, faculty members, industry professionals, and R&D staff. The course will also help the candidates improve their skills in AI, ML, Neural Networks (NN), and DL, thereby enabling them more opportunities in research and their careers.

The application deadlines for the program include an early bird deadline on October 29 and a regular deadline on November 19. The courses are customized to suit undergraduate and postgraduate students, class 11 and 12 students, PhD scholars and faculty members, and industry professionals.
