Loyola balances its progressive initiatives with a solid academic foundation. The college now offers more than 24 undergraduate and 21 postgraduate programs, adapting its curriculum to meet contemporary needs—such as new courses in data science, digital journalism, multimedia, and 3D animation. Its autonomy since 1978 has allowed it to pioneer path-breaking programs including visual communication and interdisciplinary studies, positioning Loyola as a model for innovation and inclusion in academia.
Recent years have brought national and international acclaim, especially with faculty accolades: Andhra Loyola College, a sister institution, achieved global recognition in 2025 when two professors were ranked among the world’s top 2 percent scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier. The centenary year in 2025 was celebrated worldwide through alumni gatherings, reflecting Loyola’s far-reaching impact on education, leadership, and community service.
