Roads are often called the arteries of a nation; the bloodline that gives life to economies and social development through trade, travel and connectivity. In a vast country like India, where rapid urbanization and rural inclusion are happening simultaneously, robust infra - structure has become indispensable. While government initiatives and massive projects have accelerated this transformation, challenges ranging from scarcity of resources to project delays and maintaining safety standards continue to test the sector.

Rising above these hurdles are a handful of visionary leaders who merge engineering expertise with India-centric strategies and world-class equipment to ensure seamless execution. Parth Jain, Director of Parth Realcon Private Limited (PRPL), who had his baptism of fire in the Indian infrastructure industry as early as the age of 19, is shaping the future of India’s infra development today. With a keen focus on efficiency, safety, and sustainable growth, Parth is leaving a strong imprint across states while strengthening the nation’s infrastructure backbone.

Parth became part of the family business right after college. The Young Turk was immediately exposed to hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and dealing with various stakeholders. Over the last five years, his courage and technical abilities have been crucial to PRPL successfully completing large government projects.

Parth focused on optimizing project implementation by ensuring better resource allocation, reducing costs, and adhering strictly to timelines while maintaining high safety standards. This strategy has enhanced the company’s capability to handle complex government projects and major national highway developments, setting benchmarks in operational efficiency and strategic planning.

His exposure to collaborations with other companies and regulatory authorities has also enhanced the company’s ability
to anticipate challenges, implement innovative solutions, and contribute effectively to India’s growing infra -structure needs. We are delighted to engage in an exclusive conversation with Parth, who walks us through his PRPL journey, leadership approach, and future.

What major challenges have you faced in managing projects, and how did you overcome them using your experience?

Our primary goal in every project is client and customer satisfaction, ensuring accurate delivery as per plans and specifications with intact quality. One of the major challenges we face is intense competition in the industry, where new players often underbid with very low rates. Despite such pressures, we remain focused on maintaining quality and meeting the expectations of government authorities and clients, which we believe is the true measure of success.

Build a reputation where the government and stake holders can consistently trust us to deliver excellence across sectors

How has modern cons- truction equipment helped to solve challenges in projects?

To ensure timely project delivery, we have adopted the latest machinery and equipment, including around seven advanced heavy machines imported from Europe. While being environmentally more sustainable, these have significantly improved efficiency, safety, and maintenance. For instance, our advanced road-sweeping machines are capable of cleaning 10-12 km per day.

A notable achievement was our involvement in the maintenance of the Delhi Mumbai Expressway, India’s First 8-lane highway, built with plastic waste for environmental sustainability.

Additionally, our team was recognized by a Member of the Lok Sabha for facilitating the emergency clearance of roads to save a patient’s life, ensuring the ambulance reached the hospital within 20 minutes in the Very Serious Cardiac Arrest in the Running Flight.

What are the quality control measures you have adopted?

We have established quality labs at all our project sites, enabling
our engineers to regularly test and monitor materials in line with government guidelines. Reports and measurements are checked daily to ensure the required strength and durability.

Additionally, we have a central laboratory at our corporate office with dedicated engineers who coordinate with project sites and conduct regular assessments.

This focus on quality control ensures that our roads are built to withstand floods, heavy rains, and other potential challenges. We also conduct thorough experiments and testing before handing over projects to the authorities.

How do you envision the future in the coming years?

Our primary focus has always been to deliver projects that stand as milestones for India’s growth. Rather than chasing revenue or turnover, we emphasize quality, safety, and timely execution. Our vision is to build a reputation where the government and stake holders can consistently trust us to deliver excellence across sectors.

While our company has primarily focused on roads, highways, and buildings, we are now expanding into new sectors such as airports, railways, metros, hospitals, and hospitality. Over the next four to five years, our vision is to establish ourselves as one of the leading construction companies at both the state and national levels.

What advice would you offer to your peer industry leaders?

I believe India’s highway sector can benefit by adopting advanced technologies, modern equipment, and international best practices. Leveraging global expertise and materials will support faster growth and help match international standards.
