Abhijeet Shrivastava
Joint-Managing Partner
Raised in a family of legal luminaries—his grandfather, a renowned law professor, and his father, a senior Supreme Court counsel— Abhijeet’s journey reflects a lifelong dedication to the law. After joining his brother Anshuman Shrivastava in 2015, he expanded the firm’s footprint to Raipur, reinforcing its reputation for precision, ethics, and strategic foresight. We are delighted to engage in an exclusive conversation with Abhijeet, who walks us through his legal approach and strategies, the latest trends in the industry, and future aspirations.
What is your approach to client engagement and strategic legal guidance?
Legal excellence begins with transparency and discipline. We prioritize structured communi - cation — regular updates, collaborative strategy sessions, and clear roadmaps — to ensure
clients are fully informed and empowered. Our advisory goes beyond reactive solutions; we anticipate risks, evaluate options, and align legal strategy with business objectives. This builds trust and fosters long-term partnerships, where clients see us as strategic allies, not just legal consultants.
How do you uphold ethics and compliance in your practice?
Ethics is the cornerstone of our firm’s culture. From the outset, clients meet their dedicated team, ensuring account ability. We operate a fully digitized system with robust data protection protocols, safe -guarding confidentiality. To prevent conflicts, we meticulously vet cases and invest in continuous training on client ethics, confidentiality, and compliance. Our goal is simple: Integrity isn’t optional—it’s embedded in every action we take.
What key trends are reshaping legal consulting today?
The role of lawyers has transformed—we’re now strategic business advisors, particularly for startups and MSMEs navigating complex regulations. Dispute resolution is evolving, with mediation gaining traction as a faster, cost-effective alternative. Technology, especially AI-driven legal research, is enhancing efficiency, but the human element—judgment, empathy, and ethics — remains irreplaceable. The future belongs to firms that blend tech agility with principled advocacy.
How do you promote diversity and inclusion in your firm?
Diversity fuels innovation. Our team spans India’s cultural spectrum — from metros to tier

Diversity fuels innovation. Our team spans India’s cultural spectrum — from metros to tier
2/3 cities — with strong representation of women lawyers through flexible policies. Post-pandemic, remote collaboration tools further democratized opportunities. We celebrate regional festivals, foster mutual respect, and hire based on merit and passion, not pedigree. True inclusivity means creating spaces where talent thrives, regardless of background.
What are your future aspirations?
I aim to deepen my Supreme Court practice as an AOR while expanding the firm’s reach to underserved regions, offering pro bono initiatives and legal literacy programs. Professionally, I’m focused on national visibility, contributing to thought leadership, and mentoring the next generation of lawyers. Personally, I hope to travel more (London remains a favorite!), dive into books like Suhel Seth’s "Get to the Top", and keep playing badminton for balance.
